What do the different comment levels mean?
This question is for hubpages: Why do some comments have different levels? What do the levels mean and why wouldn't I have any levels listed on my answers?
It has something to do with visiting hubs and leaving comments. As I have a trophy in my accolade that say's "I'm a Level Vll commenter leaving insightful and engaging comments".
When I comment on someone's hub I have a Level 7 at the top of my comment.
Hope this is helpful.
You can find more info about the accolades in the FAQ here.

Thank you Matthew, interesting reading, have a long way to go to get some of those accolades.
Thank you for the information. This was helpful.
Elsie is right Carol, the more you leave comments to hubs that you have read the higher the level, you do have to remember though that all the time that you are reading hubs your not actually using your time to write hubs! Tricky for me, because once I start reading others I find that I have no time left to sit and write my own!
Have left comments, just not enough. I agree with you, tics, a person can spend time reading hubs and leaving comment to find no time to write their own hub but I have also found myself getting ideas on what to write about after reading some of them.

HELP! I'm new to Hubpages (4 days). I noticed that when people make comments on my hubs, there are little titles that say: level 2 commenter, etc. How can I tell what level I am at?

Is anyone else unhappy with Hubpages ranking commentators? Level 1, level 2, etc?It makes me feel that, simply because I have better things to do much of the time, my input and feedback when I choose to comment on an article is less important than someone of a higher level. Shouldn't they compared...
