What percentage of your articles are getting less than 30 views per month after being online a year?

Wish I could answer that but I have not yet come to the 1 yr mark.  But tell me pls, is that what I should be expecting in around 2 months time?

It seems to me a miserable trickle of views at this point in time.

I can't answer that because this varies from person to person.  Views have been quite low recently, so do't despair.

Hi, Marie, I also lag behind. But, don't lose hope. Our days will also come.

I don't have exact figures handy but if I had to take a wild guess, I'd say... most of them.

You're probably not alone in that.

I have 2 hubs out of 50 that are published that get more than 30 views per month.

I have 110 articles published as of this date and only 5 of them are getting more than 30 views per month. That is a very small percentage and I receive very little remuneration. To me, the benefit of writing for Hub Pages is in the feedback that I get on my articles. I am able to find out how people respond to my writing, especially the subject matter.

Yes, those are not very good figures, especially for someone as knowledgeable and talented as you.  Sorry things aren't better for you.

I have about a third getting less than 30 views per month. Every time I write an article I am sure it is going to be "the one", but I have been on this site over 3 years and have found that only some hubs do well so you just have to keep trying. (I have probably deleted over 50 and could do so with another 100 without affecting my totals much.)
About 15% of my hubs get over 1000 views per month, and a few get over 10,000. Are they any different than those that get less than 30 per month? Not really. For someone like Marie, with very few articles, all I can suggest is to keep trying. You may write that article that does really well next week or the week after.

Sounds like you have mostly chosen the right topics that have the info people want.  Those are very good figures!

Thanks for the encouragement Dr Mark.  You're right of course. I am not only new to HP but to write for publishing.  In my defence I have to also say, that I need to hurry if I am to see success while still on this earth !LOL!! wink

I am very poor regarding these views. Out of my 30 hubs, only 3 are getting more than 30 views in a month. All the rest get nominal clicks between 10 to 30 in a month. So, 90% are below 30 views.
