    Tiiiired. It's been a long day. I had to get up super early to take one of my roommates to work (a 45 minute drive), and then I had to appear in federal court to testify on my deceased mother's behalf regarding her disability claim. It's been over a year since she passed, and I'm glad to have the whole process over with...I didn't even realize how much it was weighing me down until the hearing was over and I got home and realized....It's over now. Whew.

       had a good day - just had a delish dinner - cooling down - got some writing done.  Had a lot of fun listening to Jose Feliciano's stuff and researching that hub.  fun on the forums today was kinda funny too - Ron Montgomery posted a really gross pic, he's been threatening to post over on the "how do you surf the forums" thread and that was strange.  We were all baiting Cagsil for awhile til we got bored with that.  let's see, what else. . .

             oh he was being his usually caustic self, and some of the girls said he didn't love them, so I asked him who he did love (besides his mom) and he avoided the question, as usual - have never seen him answer a direct question - he said he might get "psychological" like that was a threat!  we all made a bit of fun, but he was in a good mood!  so that's all.
             
             HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  how could you really almost forget?  we'll have a party for you !   I made some banana bread cupcake/muffin type thingys today, they're pretty good!  and there's the usual boy food hanging around!  No , really - we'll have a REAL PARTY DUDES!

                Aww, thank you, mega. That's sweet. Really I've been so pre-occupied with my Mom's disability hearing that it kind of eclipsed everything. I was thinking of holding off celebrating until the weekend.

          I also got some work finished this afternoon. Finished up a valentine's day catalog for one of my clients.
          
          My lawyer invited me to write a section for a book she's compiling, and that was very cool.
          
          Now I'm relaxing, going to put my elderly gentleman to bed in a few minutes, and might take myself there before too long. I have a bunch of homework tomorrow.

    oh yeh - and this afternoon a really great looking coyote was hunting in the meadow but the damn dogs barked and barked and it wouldn't come very close to the house, so don't know whether I got much good video of it.  It was fat and happy looking with its lush winter coat, almost looked like a wolf (don't be scared, denno)
