A friend and I attempted a daredevil sledging stunt today off a steep hill over a jump. He chickened out and jumped off, and I was thrown onto the edge of the jump, bounced off and rolled down. I now have incredible lower back pains and a twisted knee xD Joy.

    How was your day? smile

Sounds like the kind of thing I'd do.

I bet it was good fun, well until you got injured.

Hopefully you'll recover quickly and get back on that sledge.

Sorry to hear you got injured, but if the thrill came before the pain it was all worth it, right? smile

Haha I'm yet to find out, at the moment I can't really do anything, so if it lasts a long time it won't be. If it goes soon then it was still an experience xD

Oh my. It sounds as though you're lucky to be alive! Consider getting checked out by a doctor just to be on the safe side. *worried look*

Things are no where near as exciting here, although we have been snowed in for about 2 and a half weeks. Thank goodness I work from home!!

Yikes now I'm glad I haven't left the house today.  I see chiropractor and massage therapy appointments in your future.  Hope the pain is short lived.

I just got an email that my aunt died. However, I'm glad that she no longer has to suffer so terribly.

Dogsi, make sure you take some ibuprofen tablets to help reduce swelling. Sure helps when I have similar problems. Hope you mend soon.

Justine, "intervention" sounds more like a witch hunt in your case. Whatever it is, I hope it goes well.

it's called taking one for the team.

i would have a talk with your friend. you gotta know that he's not gonna bail on you in other situations like a foursome, a bar fight, a wrestling match with sumo suits. If he's gonna be your boy he's gotta be there for you.

K, we got a little under an inch this morning.  Considering more often than not there is no snow here, that's pretty nice, but I sure wanted more...lots more!

I put some eggs on to boil for egg salad and went to finish writing the hub about talk show hosts and got so engrossed that I suddenly noticed smoke and my eggs were about to catch on fire!  fortunately I got there in time - but no egg salad for lunch!  had no idea talk show hosts could inspire me to forget everything for so long!  otherwise, its a good day!
