Well I've had a sniffle for a while, but today it's gotten really bad, I won't go into disgusting details but needless to say I can't go out tonight like I was meant to
Guess that means I'll have to stay with you lovely people!
Does that possibly mean that you are showing all the Christmas colors--red and green in particular?
Sorry to hear you're ill so close to the holiday. No fun. Hope you bounce back fast. If you have access to lots of Vit C, and some zinc, (take about 6 or 8 of them) and then stay away from zinc for a month, that often does the trick. Stops it cold in its tracks. But stay away from it after so it has time to clean out your body.
Cheers, I do actually possess some little tablets containing Vitamin C and Zinc that haven't ever been opened... I'll try some, cheers
I used to get sinus/upper respiratory symptoms this time of year that would linger up to 2 months! I now take Congaplex by Standard Process. I take 12-15 per day for a couple days (per my chiropractor). You have to get it from a "licensed provider" like a chiropractor or naturopath. You could try Sun Harvest and ask for high potency thymus support.
I hope it doesn't last until Christmas Day...
Hope its only a 24 hour flu so you can be back in party mode by Christmas! Feel better soon.
Feel better soon! Meanwhile, wrap up in a cozy blanket, cup of hot toddy, and a flick. Rest and drink lots!

How do you motivate yourself when you are sad, down or sick?Especially when dealing with chronic illness, and an unforgiving work/study schedule, housework, cooking, additional (important) study, writing, personal development, and exercise routines seem to be often left by the wayside.Any and all...

On Friday last week we noticed our 11 yr old schnauzer acting odd. He was grunting, turning in circles, did not want to be picked up or even petted. He appeared to be in pain. We took him to the vet who said he had somehow injured his back and had swollen discs. Perhaps by jumping on or off...
