I'm new user in hubpages and i want to know please how can i promote my hubs, and how long for google can index my hubs with some keywords? I can see my hubs in google if i put all the link but don't show with keywords.
Welcome to HubPages blogsite
First, always write the best quality content you're capable of writing. Sometimes - if your time constrained or lack SEO knowledge, people will find your hubs and link them for you.
You can still backlink to your hearts content (I backlink most as time goes by) but if you don't know what this means, search for 'backlinks' using the search facilty above right. Read and learn - then backlink away.
I don't use twitter and so on but some do and seem to find some moderate success using such social network sites - you could give that a try.
And always remember that anything worth writing is worth writing well
yes, FG 's nailed it.
Also, for internal traffic (readers within the website)
start participating in the forums...and read other people here
though try not to 'follow' hubbers randomly or at a go.
best of luck with everything!
So, so many! I assume you are a good writer. My first recommendation for you is to learn SEO. shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to understand.
Go to the Hubs search and search for promoting, Hub promoting etc.
We have a ton of great Hubbers that give out a HUGE amount of free info that has helped me a great deal.
Social bookmarking sites. Digg, Stumbleupon, etc. Go there and create an account. Submit your hubs, but make sure you create an eye catching description AT the social bookmarking site.
and make sure you're not breaking any terms and conditions. These sites are designed so members can recommend good sites - not so you can spruik your own! Some expressly prohibit promoting your own stuff - in practice, most people do it, but you have to hide your own sites by making sure you bookmark lots of other good sites as well. If you get caught, you'll get banned.
I honestly cannot recommend how you should promote yourself because I just started picking up this writing to, although I have been here 10 months, I would say commenting and reading other hubs and if you really enjoy their work then follow them. My sister recommended that I begin to write, she is on hubpages too so she has taught me many things and I am more confident about writing.

Are HP merely just creating new niche sites and hoping Google will pick them up? or are they actively promoting the sites in the wider world of the niche the site is based on?
