In line with the creation of 30 hubs in 30 days. Couldnt we create a read 100 hubs in 30 days? Thus increasing comments and interest in hubs. That would be reading about 3 or 4 hubs a day for 30 days... UMm whos up to it?
I already get a number of peoples hubs sent to my inbox when they publish something new, so I am reading at least 5 hubs a week, plus what I browse whilst Im here.
Whose up to it? Read 100 hubs in 30 days?
how about- read 30 hubs in 30 days and leave comment for each
I already read about a dozen hubs a day. I have so many interests and HubPages has articles on evertything that pops in my mind as fascinating. I agree more people should read more. If you want to write clean copy, you need to read a lot.
Great idea, Salt! I also like the day of leaving a comment on each to prove you read it.
This morning I woke up to nine comments on eight different hubs I wrote from a new follower. I'm still not finished replying to all of her comments, but it was a great boost to me.
Reading 100 in 30 days-- reading and commenting takes a little more effort, but I'm going to try for a personal record at least.
yes, I could read 100 in 30 days or less..I think I already have..but I read new ones daily that spark my interest.
Since I am way more likely to do that than write even 30 in 30 days (last time I only got to 16 in 3 months!) so yes, I'm in. I enjoy reading hubs.
Both are great ideas. The 30 hubs in 30 days would be easier for some... I am going for the advanced read of 100. Yet, the read 30 in 30 days is fantastic too, as it will get people reading each others work.
I am in...just read your coffee mug hub. I ave a couple collections of mugs and I too love my morning coffee.Maye I will even check out some of those mugsfor something I can add o my collctions
Ive read my 3 hubs for the day.
Has a way with words hub on google analytics,
A fantastic hub on the EU and banning of genetically modified crops.
And one by green garnet on green tourmaline.
I read and comment on at least 10 hubs a day - usually more. So...good idea!!
Wow habee! That's great. Thanks for supporting us all!
I try to read at least one or 2 each time I come to hubpages, unfortunately, that's not as regularly as I'd like. I'll try to up it though. Guess I know where I'll be spending my lunchbreak!
its slow starting, but anyone in for reading 100 hubs in 30 days..
I think that I read and comment on more than 100 hubs a month, however I'm going to begin counting my comments now. I already read more than I write, but since this challenge has been put before me, I'm sure I'll be much more prolific.
Been a bit since I dropped in but his makes more sense then the 30 hubs in 30 days. I am in
Ive read my 4 or 5 hubs for the day.
2 lovely ones by fastfreta - one on enabling and the other on Whitney Houston, which was lovely.
Crochet without yarn - Recycled Fabric
by apStumbo
and a couple of others.
up to 7 for 2 days of 30
Ok, read 3 today... I need to pick up the pace, but its a start.
Made sure I commented too.
4!
Keith - agreed. I just wish I had more time to spend. I love to read and write, but w/ 2 small kids at home, its been ages since I've gotten my nose into a book that didn't have cardboard pages. At least I can be a little more productive here. Easier to commit to an article, than a whole book. But, I agree that reading others' work is immeasureably helpful to one's own writing.
I read an average of 15 a day, so times 30 it will be 450 hehe, I am ok, with this, but if I have more time I can read more, I write an average of two a day too, and join the forum at times too,
I usually read 5-10 hubs daily depending on my time that day. I don't leave comments on all but almost always rate it up. I read some from my daily hub mail, a couple from my followers and a couple that pique my interest from the topic page or something I see in the feed.
this morning I read dao hoa's 2 hubs about the quake in Haiti.
Yippee, thankyou all for joining in. I think it is worth it. I learn from what everyone writes and reading more hubs helps the creative juices flow, plus supports others in their work.
Have read 4 for today.
TLMinut on inspirational hubs. It was lovely and she was right
One by Visitmanic which was good on backlinking if I am correct
Another one on backlinking and traffic.
One by Baltholemeuw on meditation for money... as I plan to read on on finance per day and this was a good variation on this theme.
One on how to help build better work and a couple of others which are truly creative.
Im up to 11 read in 3 days.
I am using this in line with the promote another hubber, I have read different hubs and then in tur promoted the hubs I read. I think I have read atleast 5 today.

Still trying Salt. Been under the weather the past few days so I've slowed down a bit. Hope to pick up again soon. Even if I don't make the 100 hubs, its definitely gotten me reading and commenting more. Thanks for the motivation!
Is anyone doing this with me.. I feel like Ive been left to do this on my own.. I have found it helps me alot to read others work and helps me see how I could improve my own as well as discoverying some amazing writers
Hello? You're not alone. Posted just before you! Its just little 'ol me, but I'm here!
100 in 30 is alot for me, I spend very little time online, but I'm at 15 in 9 days, so I'm making a dent at least. I usually do 1 or 2 each time I log on, but I don't get to log on very often. So, averaging about 2/day is pretty good for me. As I said, the last few days really put me behind, but I'm going to try to step it up this weekend if I can.
wonderful and I did see you there and had thought of you the past couple of days.. congratulations. Im leaving a big read for tomorrow as today was spent watching the tennis alot.. we were very happy to see our favorite win.

Yep, I'm going to be writing 100 Hubs in 30 days starting next Monday, May 11th. This might sound a little crazy (because it is), but I promise that I have a somewhat logical reason for doing it.So here's the story -- Yesterday I was surfing around the web, looking at some blogs that have been...

Hey, I am new to HubPages. I have been writing online for several years, and it is time for me to take a challenge that hurts. I am taking the 100 hubs in 30 days challenge. Anyone care to join me in the insanity?
by Jesse-James 14 years ago
Is there a challenge like this in any place, to write one hundred hubs in 20 days. 100 in 30 days has been done so is it time yet to up the stakes?
by BlytheThompson 11 years ago
Has anyone tried this? Or made it? I've seen 30 hubs in 30 days. 100 hubs in 30 days.Well i'm going to try it, and today is Thursday July 12, 2012, i think more of us should!!
