In line with the creation of 30 hubs in 30 days. Couldnt we create a read 100 hubs in 30 days? Thus increasing comments and interest in hubs. That would be reading about 3 or 4 hubs a day for 30 days... UMm whos up to it?

I already get a number of peoples hubs sent to my inbox when they publish something new, so I am reading at least 5 hubs a week, plus what I browse whilst Im here.

Whose up to it? Read 100 hubs in 30 days?

I already read about a dozen hubs a day. I have so many interests and HubPages has articles on evertything that pops in my mind as fascinating. I agree more people should read more. If you want to write clean copy, you need to read a lot.

Great idea, Salt! I also like the day of leaving a comment on each to prove you read it.

This morning I woke up to nine comments on eight different hubs I wrote from a new follower. I'm still not finished replying to all of her comments, but it was a great boost to me.

Reading 100 in 30 days-- reading and commenting takes a little more effort, but I'm going to try for a personal record at least.

yes, I could read 100 in 30 days or less..I think I already have..but I read new ones daily that spark my interest.

Since I am way more likely to do that than write even 30 in 30 days (last time I only got to 16 in 3 months!) so yes, I'm in. I enjoy reading hubs.

Both are great ideas. The 30 hubs in 30 days would be easier for some... I am going for the advanced read of 100. Yet, the read 30 in 30 days is fantastic too, as it will get people reading each others work.

Wow habee!  That's great.  Thanks for supporting us all!

I try to read at least one or 2 each time I come to hubpages, unfortunately, that's not as regularly as I'd like.  I'll try to up it though.  Guess I know where I'll be spending my lunchbreak!

I think that I read and comment on more than 100 hubs a month, however I'm going to begin counting my comments now.  I already read more than I write, but since this challenge has been put before me, I'm sure I'll be much more prolific.

    4!

Keith - agreed.  I just wish I had more time to spend. I love to read and write, but w/ 2 small kids at home, its been ages since I've gotten my nose into a book that didn't have cardboard pages.  At least I can be a little more productive here.  Easier to commit to an article, than a whole book.  But, I agree that reading others' work is immeasureably helpful to one's own writing.

I read an average of 15 a day, so times 30 it will be 450 hehe, I am ok, with this, but if I have more time I can read more, I write an average of two a day too, and join the forum at times too,

I usually read 5-10 hubs daily depending on my time that day. I don't leave comments on all but almost always rate it up. I read some from my daily hub mail, a couple from my followers and a couple that pique my interest from the topic page or something I see in the feed.

this morning I read dao hoa's 2 hubs about the quake in Haiti.

One by Baltholemeuw on meditation for money... as I plan to read on on finance per day and this was a good variation on this theme.

One on how to help build better work and a couple of others which are truly creative.

100 in 30 is  alot for me, I spend very little time online, but I'm at 15 in 9 days, so I'm making a dent at least.  I usually do 1 or 2 each time I log on, but I don't get to log on very often.  So, averaging about 2/day is pretty good for me.  As I said, the last few days really put me behind, but I'm going to try to step it up this weekend if I can.
