I hit that milestone about a month and a half or so before I expected it - so that's cool. Imagine my surprise today
I'm glad I've had the opportunity to learn and grow here on HP. There's been a lot of changes over the years, but it's been a lot of fun. I'm doing more of my own things these days, but I carry a lot of what I learned forward with me and use it to develop my own sites.
I do still treasure HP and hope that it remains around for enough years for me to earn my 10 million accolade (that may take decades lol)
Congratulations! That is quite an accomplishment.
Congratulations and may you reach many more views from here!
Great Job! Congratulations on hitting this milestone!
Amazing! I hope one day to be able to say the same but it is slow going currently. Would you be willing to share some of the techniques you used to receive so many views? Hope you are around and publishing articles here for a long time to come. Don't forget us as you begin to move onto other things!
I also run a few niche blogs/websites so I've developed a lot of skills through trial and error. My biggest tip is social media. I see so many agonizing over Google search engine traffic and while that's nice and I work to SEO optimize my work on all platforms, ultimately you want to develop in-depth content that answers a question and/or solves a problem and then use good images and social media. Almost half of my traffic came from people pinning my hubs on Pinterest.
You can't just pin stuff and hope people see it. You have to spend time developing great boards, or a Twitter following, or a Facebook page/group or whatever social media works best for your type of content.
For me, that's been the answer more than just trying to hop up and down and hope Google ranks me high enough lol. Ironically, a lot of my blog posts do rank very high now that I stopped trying so hard to make them rank .
Nice job. I am excited to hit milestones like this as well.
Congratulations, ChristinS! Good to hear from you and know you're doing well. So happy for you.
Nice Decades, I don't think so. Good luck hitting the 10M mark.
Congrats! On the funny side, your post made me look at mine - I turned 5 million within the last hour or so!
Way to go! That is awesome! I think this Grannie would faint if I received that many!

I'm happy to announce that I've reached 3 million + views. Thanks to all who have supported me over the last 8 years.

In the bigger scheme of things, 250,000 page views is not so huge. But I just couldn't resist being able to say "million" when talking about my stats!

I know that there is no "average" amount of time, but I am just curious. I see plenty of old-timers here who have that accolade. I have been here over 4 years, and I am about a third of the way there.

This is from starting with two Hubs in May, 2013, and building up to 54 Hubs. Actually, I reached one million views on October 1st but, like so many others have reported, every subsequent stats update from then deducted numbers from my total views. I reached this milestone again on...

On Easter Sunday I finally hit the million views checkpoint. Took a long time to get there, but it was nice reading the email HP sends you on reaching this accolade. This is a good time to thank the staff at HP, no one ever says it enough - they are doing and have always been doing a great job here.

Reaching a million views on HubPages has taken me a very long time. It hasn't been as easy as reaching such a milestone on an article in an online magazine or on a niche or business website, so that should really make it feel like much more of an accomplishment. It doesn't, though. Really, nothing...
