    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article How You Can Browse Safe And Stay Secure Online. What can I do to improve? Thanks!

      Hi Miebakagh,

You asked for a lot of feedback today. The problem is the same in all your hubs -- your English is not yet up to the standard HubPages requires. You've written 24 articles but only three are featured.

It would be better if you would spend some time improving your English, otherwise all your work and effort will be in vain.

As far as this article goes, there's usually no need to 'turn on anti-virus gear'. It starts automatically.

An internet 'facility' is a router.

Your computer is not a 'Microsoft Windows'. However, your operating system is.

Did you mean to say that other (compared to IE) web browsers 'are not very popular'? The browser that  comes with Windows 10 is not IE, it's now called Microsoft Edge.

One of your photo captions says 'A Cumputer'.

You tell people what a browser is, but surely you must understand that to be reading your article, they are using a browser? So the information about all that is not necessary.

You have written a lot about the history of browsers and 'browser wars'. But none of that is relevant to the title.

You contradict yourself. In one paragraph you say that Chrome is the most used browser, and in the next you say that Microsoft IE has the largest market share.

I'm afraid, I can't go through the whole article but if you don't get the technical terms correct, your reader is going to press the back button to go and find something more authoritative. There are so many factual errors in this. Even if you get it through QAP, it's not going to be helpful to anyone.

      Sorry.

        Hi theraggededge, thanks for visiting.
Today, I learn well from you and note what you say.
However, I beg to agree with certain points you raise but not all.
One, this hub was a feature piece 2 years ago, before Marven's take over, right?
Its parent article,"Computer antivirus Strategies That Secure your Computer Online" is now featured 2 months ago.
For 1 1/2 years, I am not online. So, when I get back online in December, last year, I realized all my featured hubs 12 in all are down.
It is after I wrote "How you can browse safe..." that Microsoft Edge comes into the market. But I do not pay more attention to it. In my office, we only take on IE as a web browser. While I personally use Google Chrome.
If you read well between the lines, you will realize that GC is the most popular web browser, because of its security patches. This is what I said in the hub, even though IE had the highest market share.
Yes, the certain antivirus will run automatically. If a serious security issue is detected as your operating system runs, your antivirus will start soon. You can correct me if I am wrong.
I will soon see how I will relate the "browser war and history" to the title of the story.
Thanks for all your inputs. I regard you well for your suggestions help one of my hubs to be featured again.
        You are always welcomed.

Let’s start with your Bio. It’s all about you and why your an expert on that topic. Take a look at other authors with published articles on your topic and see if you can use he same kind of bio.

If I was looking to read about this subject, and read your bio and then the first sentence, I would bounce back to my search engine and look for something else.
    What is a guinea one?
As theraggededge points out, unless you can improve your English and remove the numerous misspelt words no one is going to bother reading this. A software to improve grammar is not adequate.

      Thanks, DrMarkfor visiting.
I will like to know what is wrong with my bio.

The bio should tell us why the author is qualified to write about the subject. If I find a bio "I love to drive fast and won the Indy 500 in 2012" and the article is on dieting, well, it is less than worthless.
If your bio tells us about your work experience as a civil servant and then you have an article on computers, I do not see you as an authority.
I have several bios, and although I use one of them most of the time, I have a few others that are relative to the subject I am writing about. For instance I wrote about guinea fowl, and in my bio I mention that I work with exotics and raise poultry on my small farm.

Hi DrMark, you are much welcomed here.
You hint the issue righy on the nail. I do not want to use several bios. So, the bio I use is an abstract.
In my work as an Administrative Officer. I am right on the computer key board. Not only that, computer programming are key studies during my first degree program. I have had a special desktop publishers course.
More than this,I attempted a MSc in information technology, which I have not finish.
It is because of these studies and experiences that I wrote the hub. It was formerly more than 5,000 words, and featured. But with maeven's take over,   I am reviewing it in line with the new APA policy.
Thank you. You are always welcomed to input your plus and minus on any of my hubs.
