So, after a few years of chipping away with blogs, websites, and HubPages, I finally have got something in print that is not self-published. I haven't been so active on HubPages of late, so I am sorry for not sharing the news before now.

After making connections through my articles which I share mostly on a Facebook page and Twitter, I was asked last year to contribute to a book on fairy folklore called "Magical Folk: British and Irish Fairies: 500 AD to the Present", which was published in December 2018.

My contribution to the book is a chapter on fairies of Worcestershire, which tend to appear as lights that lead travellers astray. Fairy folklore from the region also includes wild hunts, scary fairies, and manners on dealing with the Good Folk. I really enjoyed researching this, and was so thrilled to see it receive good reviews the press, and feature in the Fortean Times.

They sell it on Amazon and in bookshops. It's really weird to walk past a shelf in a shop and see this on there! This has been really exciting for me.

Good morning misss Jones. Congratulations for your big and exciting accomplishment. It is not an easier task to publish a book . The amount of money that publishing companies want is alot for many people. Than, writers have to compete with many talented people. I am happy for you. I give you many applause. Some times, I see other writers being publish but not too many. I hope you make a big party to celebrate your new book. Good luck to you miss Jones. I hope; you make a lot of money.
