I am trying to set up Google Adsense and I don't know where to find the URL to add as "website."  When I put the URL in that I used for Google Analytics, which works there, a note pops up and says it is not a personal website. Can anyone offer some words of wisdom ... please? I would be extremely grateful as this setup is somewhat frustrating for me. Thanks ...

It's best not to apply for GA until you have at least 10-15 good quality articles published.

Welcome to HubPages anyway and good to meet another Golden Doodle lover.

We have six altogether (the GD, 2 labs, 2 shorkies and a dorkie).

Max is the best, I love this breed, he is my first one. We always had Golden Retrievers and still do, but Max came along and I had to have him. He was an adorable puppy and a beautiful dog. He likes to bark more than my retrievers, but that is the only little thing that can be annoying at times..

If you apply for Adsense through the HP program, you shouldn't have this problem.  However, as raggededge, you need at least 10 good quality hubs that at least have been featured before you even have a chance of being accepted for Adsense.  Work on that first and THEN apply through HP.  It will be much easier than trying to apply for your own website.  If you do start a website later, you'll already have Adsense, so that will be easier for you also.  You can only have one Adsense account.

Thank you so much. I do already have an Adsense account which I want to change from a defunct website to my Hubpages. I will put up 10 articles first, thanks again.

Ah, okay, you just need to add your Adsense code to your Hubpages account. Don't worry yet about adding HP URLs to Adsense. You can do that later, I think.

PS Ignore Peachpurple's advice about needing 50 hubs. She's wrong hmm

Roz, I already had an adsense account when I started with HP. I have heard that you have to get a new HP account but I do not think this is true; I just added the number to my account page. It worked out okay.

Yes, definitely create at least 10 good articles and then simply add the code for your existing Adsense account to the area on HP where you sign up.  You won't have to wait for approval because you already are approved.  The 10 articles actually will just be a way to show Adsense that you are serious about using the original code on HP's site.

Do you have more than 50 hubs? If yes, then you can add in the GA
