Definitely not. Getting somewhere near half what I was getting.
Traffic/revenue a little bit higher on this account, but like someone else said on another thread, I'm actually making a little more than I was same time last year. So, traffic and money not as good as it was a little while back, but better than last year. As someone else said, maybe it's seasonal.
Since the beginning of October my earnings have gone down by about half.
Same story here, mate. It's disheartening to say the least.
Visits off around 5% ... within normal daily range. September ad revenue off 20% from peek in August but I'm not complaining.
Mine isn't back to what it was (still 25% down) but some of that might be seasonal. I'm not complaining though as my traffic is still very good.
Still 25% to 30% down on last week. Some articles have returned to normal and one has more daily traffic than before.
Anybody has any clue why this is happening? Lots of noise online but no clear indication why so many sites got hammered.
Load time, text-html ratio of indexed pages (something like the panda update).
I took a new client who was hit by this update and lost 50% of his traffic (one of the top German recipe sites) and now traffic and rankings are up even better than before the update. All I did was deindex his category pages, tags and created AMP pages and boosted desktop load time as well.
This website is not like the HP niche sites, no automated tag pages, and stuff. But HP has some of these elements that can potentially be fixed too.
So, you're suggesting that the traffic drop has some sort of connection with the recent Google update?
Haha. Not suggesting, stating. Most people on this thread and the other one that discusses the traffic drop also see the correlation. Correlation doesn't mean causation, but when your traffic from google drops and you lose rankings after an update, that's cause.
Thank you for clarifying it for me. How long does it usually take for things to be back on track when something like this happens?
Hmm, nothing much we could do if it's a pagespeed thing. Guess we have to have faith in the HP team to address this.
My traffic is experiencing dramatic nose dives. What is the reason?
Much better now, let's hope for a much better week of traffic and earnings. The storm is passing over, Alleluia.
I have 10 HP profiles, but it's difficult to find a definitive pattern. I am down 15 - 25%, I would guess, but it's uneven. I'm hoping HP can give their opinion, as they have a much wider overview, as well as the technical expertise.
It was a little better yesterday, but back down this morning.
Traffic go up. Traffic go down.
Traffic go up. Traffic go down.
Nature of the beast.
I'm not even going to check the traffic from now on until I get some positive news from the Forums. It's out of our hand anyways.

Anybody know why this could be happening? I have an article that's been on here for three or four years and generates around 70-80 views per day. I haven't updated it in all that time. Out of the blue a couple of weeks ago I was stunned to see that the previous day it had 600 views. Thinking though...

Let me preface this by stating I am not trying to be mean or a troll. In fact, I avoid the forums because I don't want to get involved. But with so many posts about the topics I'm about to discuss, I wanted to put in my two cents and to offer a reality check to old and new hubbers...

Since I migrated here from Squidoo two months ago, I've seen a steady stream of threads in this forum, complaining about lost page views. There are a lot of theories about why it's happening, and how much it's happening, and what can be done to get into Google's good graces.Google is not my #1...

Was just looking at my stats for both my accounts and saw an increase of approx 20% on both. Just checked and there seems to have been an update on May 4th so this could be why - anyone else seen an upturn?

Firstly let me make it clear that I'm not complaining about this hub, personally I quite like it. <no links please>But I know that both HubPages and Google have rules against porn, and this is nothing you couldn't see inside many English papers and magazines but I was just curious as to...

Looks like HP and Squidoo have both suffered a 20% decline in pages views from the latest Google Panda Hit - early days of course. Ho Hum! What a bum!
