I have been very ill since early June and have not been able to attend to my articles. This week I finally made it to my computer only to see that every single video has been removed from my more than 158 articles.  No real reason given , so am wondering if this happened to everybody.  Articles are not nearly as good without the videos.

Thank you.  It's a very slow recovery which was not helped two weeks ago when my husband found me on the floor not breathing.  Kind of starting all over again now, but thank goodness HP pays me whether I actively write or not  Has really helped with the medical bills and also to keep my mind at peace.  Sure miss it, though.

Are the videos literally gone, or are you just getting a lot of "broken links" warnings for YouTube videos?

There's been a problem of late with false "broken links" warnings -- the YouTube videos are still there and still viewable, but for some reason HP thinks they're "broken."

If that's the case, then all you have to do it hit "ignore" on each of the warnings to make them go away.

yikes Wish I had known that. I deleted/switched out to a new video on one or two articles.

I have those broken video links as well but when I checked them, they are all okay.

I think FatFreddysCat has the right idea, Sondra. I just went to one of your articles and the videos are showing and playing.

Oh Goody:  I removed all of them because I thought they were gone anyway and am amazed they're still there.  I hope you're right because it would be a huge amount of work to find new videos that match my topic..I have as many as 3 per article in some cases!

I am happy to hear the "videos removed" is a false alarm. I hope the HP Team can and will resolve the issue of "broken links" soon.
It's good to see you up and around the forum.

Not fixed yet. I just clicked "ignore" on 7 or 8 article links. Didn't bother check, figured it's still the bug.

I noticed a heap of broken link warnings and deleted four before I realized there must be a glitch... I tested the videos and they were all working.

One time I had a shock to find all videos had disappeared, turned out it was because I hadn't approved all cookies. The videos were still there, I couldn't access them until approving cookies.

Lately, I go to the broken links and click on it before false broken links show up. The false broken links flash and disappear. It seems to clear the problem for me.

True. I too received the broken link messages in My Articles page for 2, 3 videos. One was replaced by me with another video. Then I simply tested the other broken links and they were fine. The messages also disappeared after that.
