    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

Copy and pasted. Mostly from Wikipedia.

You can't take someone else's work and pass it off as your own. It's called 'plagiarism'. It's theft and is considered the worst sin in writing.

Yes, I picked a few lines from places but also provided reference to those, but my article is not just copied and pasted.
But thank you for your time. Next time I will avoid quoting lines from else where even with reference.

It wasn't just a few lines, it was whole paragraphs. You didn't reference the Wikipedia sources. You didn't make it clear they were quotes.

I see you have deleted those sections now, so that's good. Your writing must be your own writing unless you have made it perfectly obvious that you are quoting.

I quoted some lines as information and i the reference section noted the sources, but then I realised that it's better not to use so many quotes.

Thanks for your review.I'm new in this platform and still learning. So your advice is of great use to me.

This has the basis of a good article. It often takes a little perseverance to get through the Quality Assessment Process on Hub Pages, so don't be discouraged.
It's a good idea to follow theraggededge's advice.
I wondered about the point of your first paragraph, as the next text capsule is labelled 'Introduction'. Do you need both? I found the wording of the introduction a little dense and repetitive. It felt like you were going round in circles a bit. A little simplification might be helpful.
There is too much white space between paragraphs in the 'Brief History' and beyond.
The article would benefit from a slow read through or a check with a free download of Grammarly to pick up minor errors.
I hope this helps. Perseverance is key to getting through QAP. We've all been there before.

Thanks. I see now. That introduction really is a bit unnecessary.

It's very important that the first passage that the reader sees is without error, so you should check it carefully. Do you mean stripping instead of striping in the passage?

HubPages doesn't like long, italicized sections, so you might want to reconsider the use of italics in the first section. You should also consider Eurofile's comment about including both the first section and an introduction in the article.
