   HubPages has hooked me from day one. What intrigues me most about HP is that you can have fun, write, enjoy the community, and then make money on top of it. You guys truly do rock.
   
   I haven't been a very active part of the community in my two months here, but I have read numerous amounts of topics and gotten to know some of you a little better through your hubs.
   
   So I just wanted to say hi and I hope that I will start posting more often and that I would like to get to know the HP community better. Oh and by the way, I do believe in extraterrestrials . They will probably find us before we find them, though.
   
   Here is a question for you, what do you like most about HP?

      I love the opportunity to do what I like in this world - express my thoughts in written form.  Forums are OK in moderation but the ability to be creative and share it to the world for FREE is a miracle.

   hi, and welcome.
   I also agree with golden, I love being able to write and create a page the way I want and be able to have the beginnings of a good readership in very short time. the $ is building slowly, it takes time, but it can and does bring in $.
   I also love the amazing selection of topics that people write about. And there are fantastic people here.

   Hey Devin,
   
   I like the easy platform for writing. I've always wanted to express my understanding or wisdom. Many won't share it the same, but there are going to be many who do agree.
   
   I like the friendly atmosphere, and yes by all accounts, certain forums should be taken in moderation, however, it still can be addictive.

   Number one best thing about HP for me:  The fact that it gives me a voice (magnifies my voice) to the world wide web without me having to build a website, pay anybody anything, or get hired by some corp. (or even individual) that would try to tell me what I could or could not say.

   I like Hubpages because I can connect with people through hubs. I find people with similar interests and learn so much from others. I love reading hubs from all over the world and especially seeing pictures of far away lands. Thanks HP.

   I love hubpages because it gives me a platform to write and share my ideas and provides feedback on how many times my hubs have been viewed. It is nice to know that people appreciate what I have to share with them through my hubs. It lets me interact with lots of people.
   To add to that, with adsense, it allows you to make money while you have fun!

    I love HP because I can write using my own voice, with no one telling me I have to do something else.
    
    I love HP because experienced hubbers are happy to share their knowledge and wisdom with newbs.
    
    I love HP because the forums are vibrant and interesting. Yes, conflicts arise, but everyone can choose freely about which threads they participate and which they ignore.

    I agree, hp is very cool, but also very addictive. I love that I can write about what ever the hell I like and theres no deadlines! The community is also really supportive.

    My favorite thing is the ability to learn while you write. I do have a love of anything related to fashion, but I've been learning about a lot of other topics along the way!
