Hello beautiful People there,
I am having some issues with my comments from yesterday. the comments I am making on others articles are not visible to me. I don't know wether my comments are even reaching to them or not. Please I need help and is anyone else facing the same problem. Please let me know.
One of my friend replied to me on one of her article her comment was visible to me and mine was not.
The comments I am making are not appearing on my activity section as well but I am following that articles for notifications. I am receiving notifications from those articles.
Don't know what's happening
Blessings
Usually the problem is an intervention by Hubpages for their own reasons, but it can be a 'glitch' also. Turn of your computer and re-start, then do a clean from one of your virus checkers or scan disc. Then re-enter Hub pages. I've seen nothing from you. Salaam!
Manatita I posted a comment on your article. I am using different devices but every time problem remains same.
Don't know why
Manatita can you please tell me dear if you can see my reply on my article "Long-Range Influence - How Can Another Person Affect Us From a Distance?" Where you just made a comment about an hour ago.
I replied you can you see my comment there.
Regards and blessings
Some of the authors including me have to approve the comments first before they show up in the article. I have set it on my setting.
yes, dear, I know that I have asked people where I made comments. but they said they didn't receive any comment from my side. I wish if any staff member here can help me.
thanks anyway
blessings
It takes awhile for new comments to appear on articles on Discover or the Niche Sites. The author’s comment may appear because they wrote it on “author’s view” via their accounts page. Check again after 10 or 15 minutes.
Jodah dear I have checked couple of times but it's not there. I made comments on Manatita's post as well yesterday but I can't see that too. First I thought someone didn't approve my comment but it's happening every time. I am sure it is some type of bug or error. It's not even showing up in my activity section. I am confused
Hey there, I always check when I hit the "submit comment" button whether it is received or not by the website. But in your case, there must be a glitch.
I hope it’s a glitch. Well I am using 3 different devices to check. But every time same thing is happeNing
I emailed hubpages for support .
Regards and blessings
Miebakagh57 please can you tell me is my comment visible on Pamela's article on Alzheimers one, I commented there you also did but mine is not visible to me. Can you check if you can see mine? Please I know it's disturbing but I need help please
Regards
Misbah, no a glitch occur. Write team@hubpages.com for help.
Manatita dear ,
I also posted comment on Alzheimers article from Pamela. Same thing happened there.
This is happening when I shared one of my link( of an article from hubpages) In comment section on your Didi ji's post yesterday afternoon. She replied to me but I can't see my comment there so I thought may be she didn't approve my comment and just replied. But I think its a different story ,not sure what's happening.
Peace, Blessings and regards
Misbah786, team@hubpages.com can even ask for a screen shoot of your device. It is much better you use your laptop. Much thanks.
Thanks dear ,
I will do as you recommended.
Much appreciated
Blessings
Thanks and kind regards
It is possible that Pamela hid your comment or she's busy and still unread it yet and still not approved.
How do you comment? Comment is only available at Hubpages not in the discover.
You can comment on hubpages. When an article is move to discover, and if the comments has not reach the thresh-hold of 20, you can still comment. After this limit of 20, no more comments. Will some one correct me if I'm wrong?
Misbah786, thanks for the response. You'll soon know.
I think there is no limitation on the comment. Some articles have more than 100 comments.
Yes I know that, from the feed page it is possible to comment. I used to do first but now the case is I can comment and reply on my own articles which others can see too. I can't comment on others articles but yesterday one comment of mine posted on a friend's article was visible after a day or so
Did the authors respond to you? Did they mention your name?
I went to Pamela's article about the anzhiemer, she has lots of articles about this topic. Which one are you referring to?
The latest one
No Pamela didn't mention my name
That's is why I am curious to know if they are getting my comments or no.
I seriously need help with this
Blessings
PLEASE HELP ME IF ANY STAFF MEMBER IS AVAILABLE HERE
Try posting the query in the technical forum: https://hubpages.com/forum/category/7461
Or contact team@hubpages.com. You are currently in the 'Getting help from the community' section. Staff may see it, but they probably won't.
Misbah786, I think you are yet to contact team@hubpages.com Now the same suggestion is being given. Try to contact them. Previously, comments on HubPages has no limit. But these days with the set up of discover.com, comment seems to be limited. If you have email them, it takes 2-3 days for a response to arrive. Meanwhile, keep a cool, expectant frame.
I contacted but still waiting for the answer the email is
team@hubpages.com
Please Correct me if I am wrong
I sent a request on this email
It also happened to me. Sometimes, I accidentally doubled my comments. I have commented on other articles now and they also are not visible to me.
I think you're all need to do is wait for the author's approval.
It's not like they are not approving my comments because I have asked few friends but they said my comments never reached them.
I see 2 of my comments on 2 different articles after approval but it also appeared after 10-12 long hours
Authors have the ability to accept/reject comments. And moderators can do the same if comments are spammy. I would wait to hear back in regards to your email.
No they were never spammy. General comments but are not appearing. Even though I can comment and reply on my own articles but when it comes to others. It's problematic
Regards
Authors can still reject comments. If an author chooses to require their approval/denial, it will take longer for a comment to be processed. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about that.
The team will probably get back to you soon.
Thanks but they are the people whom I am making comments since I started and they never rejected my comment. I am sure about that. Please help me
Regards
The team will help you further if you wait for them to reply.
Okay I will wait.
Thanks for your time
Regards
The team said that there is no problem with my comments.
maybe the author did not approve
or I think it might be any glitch. let's see.
king regards
I wish this issue may resolve before I lose hope
Blessings
The problem started when I made a comment 2 days ago on a friend's article and there I gave her a link of my article what I think is not a problem. But my comment didn't appeared there first I thought she didn't approve it but it was a different story I think.
I need help with this issue.
Please help me out
samanthacubbison see this my comments are still getting Spam
I think the moderator block you for comment due to the link that you commented on.
Just follow Samantha's advice. The editors always reply immediately. But if you got blocked, (I am not sure if it also happens to the comment similar to the forum) you will able to comment again after 7 days.
My comments are falling in spam comments section when they are not even spammy, can someone help me? Why it’s happening? Plus I am losing my hubberscore because of this. I need serious help. I was 81 one week before now 52.
Feeling annoyed now. Help me guys. I am drowning.
Stop commenting for a while and wait for your score to increase. Focus on writing articles and improving the ones you have already written
Fix things like this article summary, "Learn to read by hand. hand sixes and proportions. learn to read hand lines".
(Edited).
Thanks a lot theraggededge.
Thanks for noticing and pointing out my mistake.
I will do as you suggested.
After all I am impressed with your score here. Taking you as my inspiration, I will do it.
Blessings and regards
Welcome
I probably leave two comments a year, if that.
Theraggededge you are welcome on my articles, leave as many comments as you want to. I will love it. I promise, if that’s so then why your score is too much high. Somebody told me the score rises when you are active on comments and forums. You are active on forums, is that the reason behind your scores.
LOL! I don't know. It's rare that I feel the need to leave comments.
It depends on the author whether she or he wants to moderate the comments or not
I found your comment, Misbah, but it was marked as spam by HP.
Yes GwennyOh that’s what I am curious to know why my comments are getting spam for no reason.
I have asked HP TEAM via email and they said they can’t find any issue with my profile
Hope if somebody can help me. It’s really annoying me now
Blessings
I am not sure if you are aware, Misbah, but there are many things that affect a person's hubber score, which most place a certain amount of value upon. Those things are believed to include the score of the hubbers they follow. With that said, we can only comment on the hubs of those we follow. See how it works? - we must pay attention to who we follow.
Also, leaving compliments as comments is not considered valuable here. So if you do leave such comments, those who value their hub scores and hubber scores, will either not approve them or will soon delete them. An example would be: "this is a great hub, I like it." If one bothers to leave a comment at all, it should denote that they actually read the article and obtained some value from it.
GwennyOh all my followers are having good scores except one. But there are a lot of new hubbers who are following me, don’t have good score, will it harm my score?
Please let me know
As you can see it’s still dropping even if I am on forum discussions.
Now my score is getting more lower it’s 50 now
Don't worry about it. The best way to improve your score is to improve your writing. Nothing else matters. Your score doesn't increase your earnings; it's not very important.
Write about things you know about (for now). I see one of your articles is about the immune system - if you don't have proper expertise (and qualifications) in that area, there's not much point in writing about it. It's on HubPages and probably won't be moved to a network site precisely because you don't have the required professional credentials. So don't waste your time on such topics.
I looked at the black magic article - it's not about black magic. You've asked, "What is Black Magic..." in the title, but you haven't addressed it at all. Make sure you write to the title - it's really important, otherwise your reader will feel cheated. And, again, it's not convincing. It's like you've read a few articles and just reprocessed them. You don't appear to be someone who practices magic or witchcraft.
If you aren't immersed in a subject, you won't come across as convincing. You can learn to overcome that later, but as a new writer, you need to believe passionately in what you write.
If you write with authority and conviction your articles will be moved to the network sites. So work on that and the hubberscore will take care of itself

What happened to comments capsule on hubs.
by Hegel 2 years ago
I think most hubbers are really shy to comment on others' work. They like to read hubs (through the HubPages news~feed), but when it comes to leaving an insightful comment [which most can, if they try a bit], they are really shy.Why is this trend? What is the point of joining this website, if are...

Since the removal of the comment system from Hubpages, writers have seen how hard they readers can project feedbacks on articles and interact with one ajmather. Now, that...
