    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!
Here is my article: Social Media Responds To:  Do You Consider Being a Parent Your "Job"?

Hi. Though your article was interesting to read, I did notice a few problems. First, the bio at the top of the page doesn’t match the topic of your article. The bio is about having a dog in the family, but you don’t mention dogs anywhere in the article. The fact that you’ve mentioned your website in the bio and shared screenshots of your Twitter account about dogs might have been viewed as promotional. In addition, you need to proofread the article to catch mistakes such as using “preform” instead of “perform.”

Do Dad's See The Role As Their "Job"?

    Dads shouldn't have an apostrophe.

Do Mom's See The Role As Their "Job"?

    Same with Moms smile

To be honest, polls with less than 10 votes don't produce data which can underpin your article's premise. Also the respondents are going to be your followers, meaning that they are probably a similar demograph to your own. It's a bit meaningless. I just checked with my partner who says he has never thought of parenting as a job.

However, it's an interesting topic so I wonder if you could run another poll, make it for longer? Maybe expand it beyond Twitter? Get it on Facebook and see if you can get some quotable comments.

You could even ask on the Topical forums - they're a lively bunch over there. https://hubpages.com/forum/11

    Good luck.

You said, "surpasses 8:00 pm." Surpasses would not be used in that context. The meaning of surpass is more in line with "outdoes," not "passes."

As Bev said, parenting is not a job. There's no application, no interview, you don't get paid, and so on and so forth. Parenting cannot be a job, so it's an article that is strictly "fluff," in that sense. If anyone viewed parenting as a job, they'd also view their children as "work." Why have children if they are just work?

"More people that identified as " dad" responded to the poll overall in comparison to people who identified as "mom".
The way you worded this, suggests that more people identified with dad than with mom, or rather, that more people see parenting as being a job.

"The poll merely captured people who wanted to respond and had time to respond over 48 hours."
The above reads to me as if you are saying that you only accepted responses from those who took longer than 48 hours to respond.

..."although the poll was send out over many platforms and many viewers."
This is a fluff statement. You need to say which platforms. Many? Really?

Thanks for the suggestions.  I will edit to include more specific details about the poll.
