In this article, Pamela Oglesby explains cardiomyopathy, along with types, causes, symptoms and possible treatments. She also includes the risk factors.

Give her article a meticulous read and pass it on to others suffering from the disease. It may help save lives. It is equally important for your heart health. As with any other disease, a good and healthy lifestyle prevents the disease.

Here is a link to her fabulous article:

As always, this article of Pamela's is well-presented and very informative. I recently had my annual physical during which my doctor was extremely pleased with my weight loss, liver and lung functions, and my blood pressure is now normal, whereas prior to losing weight it was sky high. She has, however, prescribed a CT calcium score test for me because I have a slight heart murmur. The test will let us know if it's of any concern. I do smoke, so that could possibly be the cause.

I hope Pamela chimes in on this thread. Thanks for opening her article up to comments, Rosina.

I have gone through the article. The ailment is well explained and the presentation is very informative. Pamela's medical articles are like that always.

Pamela always does such a great job explaining these procedures and this one is no exception.
I hadn't heard of this particular one.
I'm sorry to hear Pamela's mother passed away with this, but medication treated her beforehand for years so that is helpful knowledge.
The video is perfect, but a bit scary.
    Thanks for sharing.
