    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

      Hi there,

These are the issues as I see them:

You begin with a quotation but there's no attribution.

"It has loads of issues, problems..." What does? What does 'it' refer to. Replace 'it' with the correct noun.

You've used the word 'load' three times in the first two paragraphs--it looks ugly so could you replace it?

Too many sentences include lists. Try to be more precise with your words.

"...noteworthy and standard highlighted rank." What is that?

I won't go on, but there are many grammatical and phrasing errors. Have you tried the free versions of Grammarly and Hemingway? They may be helpful to you.

      Good luck.

Edit: I also suggest you delete the profanity. It doesn't belong in an article like this smile

And yet, despite its many deficiencies this is on Discover. I cannot grasp the criteria HubPages uses for promoting articles to Discover.

I think all new articles are published to Discover. I don't know if some are then demoted to HP.

Discover is full of low-quality writing. This one is pretty good when compared with some.

I have not been on HP for a long time, what is Discover?

EDIT- disregard, I figured it out

Not so. I have one article right now on HubPages that's been languishing there for more than two weeks. It's infinitely better than many of those on Discover. This is by no means the only time this has happened. I have about half a dozen that I've updated that, again, are far better than some of the dreck on Discover and they've been stuck on HubPages for months.

It's crazy. I'm just going on what we were told when Discover became a thing.

I have 11 articles still on HP. One has had almost 10.5k views during its life big_smile
