    Hi everybody,

I'm trying to get this article moved to Holidappy: The Origins of Our Beloved Christmas Traditions. The editor wants me to make it more evergreen and relatable, but I'm not sure what's making it not evergreen or relatable. Do you see anything that I need to change to get it moved over? Thank you in advance for your help.

Lissa, this is a good write, one that I digested through to the end.                                                 I'm curious for geting glaring information about the Xmas date and Jesus Christ's birth date. But I got a common tip. All the same, the article's a good read.                                                     I think the trouble is with the publication time frame. It would have been better if you publish same in late August, because some Oriental countries and Eastern Churches had began preparation and celebration in September! And it ends in March or April! The Phillistine is an example.                                          Seriously, your article didn't cover the missing periods of 6+ months. That I think would make it evergreen.

I think you've written a very good article. What the editor may mean by making the article evergreen is to make it interesting for readers at any time of year. Wishing the reader a merry Christmas in the last sentence seems strange when we're at the start of a new year. Perhaps you could reword the last sentence so that you say something like "I hope all your Christmases are merry" (or however you choose to word the idea) or choose a completely different ending so that the article is always useful.

There's one other thing that I noticed. This may be because I'm in Canada instead of the United States, but there's a notice on the last video saying that it's unavailable. I've checked your article on three devices and the message is the same. The other video is fine.

I didn't think about that for the ending. I changed the last sentence, and I added a different video for the candy cane section, since that one wasn't working. I'll try resubmitting it now. Thanks!
