I've been reading the description of each site here in HubPages, but I am still confuse where should I put some of my articles. I wrote a reflection essay on an article written by a philosopher, Bertrand Russel, which site is appropriate to put it? It's quite subjective to be on owlcation, are reflection essays appropriate on letterpile?
Thank you for your answers in advance!
Hi, Justine. The HubPages editors put our articles where they think they should go or leave them where they are. All we can do is choose the appropriate topic for the article from the list that appears when we click on the “Write” button at the top of this page. As you may know, we might have a site goal in mind, but an editor will have to decide whether the article is worth moving to that site or whether it should be left on the Discover site or the HubPages one.
I suggest that you write the best article that you can about Bertrand Russell and then see what happens to it. I have seen reflective essays on LetterPile, but an editor will decide whether your article is worth moving to one of the specialized (or niche) sites and if it is, which site it should be on. You could examine the relevant sections of LetterPile and Owlcation in more detail to see what is expected there and then edit your article to match the site.
The best thing for you to do is to put your best into the write, as Alicia also has suggested. Normally, when an article is submit for publishing, it comes to any one of the editors at a niche site. If the read is exceptionally good, they post it to the appropriate niche. Other than that, it lands on either dot Discover or Hubpages. While on the later websites, you can re-write your story to reflect an appropriate niche. That's why its being suggested that you take your time to study one of the niche sites and their editorial policies, to know before hand they requirements. Seriously, you can also contact team@hubpager for advice on the issue. Thanks.

Hi there,It tells you that it didn't pass the Quality Assessment Process. Make sure you haven't copy and pasted from other sources. Everything on HubPages must be original. Spend time at the Learning Center (click Help, top right). Also, read articles by other people on the network sites in order...

I have written a series of articles/essays under the title "The Cackleberry Farmer." Only the latest of around ten issues has been selected for "LetterPile" niche site. HP won't allow links to the other hubs in the series, and anyone reading the one on LetterPile won't really be...

I wrote a *satire on the state of human health today. I know if I publish it on HubPages it won't be picked for Healdove as it is not scientific, nor for Remedygrove because it doesn't promise to cure anything. It would, however, fit perfectly well on a humor/satire site.Have any of you got...

LetterPile, as best I can figure from the examples shown and the subcategories, is only for original works of creative writing, such as short stories, poems, memoir essays, and so on. I like LetterPile as it is. There is no vertical or niche site at HubPages about the writing life, and that seems...

This last year I improved my hubs and had 112 featured of 130 articles: Now suddenly they bust me down to only 30 featured hubs. I feel this contributes to a websites decline. I made a comment on a survey that I don't get any payout for this site and gave my opinion, and now...
