My traffic is fair but my earnings are terrible. When you make 5 cents over the weekend you know something is wrong. Has anyone else been having this kind of trouble or have any tips? This is not a problem Iv'e had before on Hubpages.

Earnings are low, but does your account say “pending” for the weekend? Mine currently shows the word for the last four days, and my earnings for those days are starred. Based on my past experience, the earnings will eventually be changed.

We are having a delay with earnings data. We will process earnings soon, and your balance will be updated.

In general, Deborah earnings are down for everyone. It has to do with Google changing its algorithms in such a way that tends to punish HubPages by ranking it lower in searches. There are others far better schooled in this than me; scroll down and you'll find multiple threads on this topic.

Earnings have plunged. No doubt on that. It may be a temporary phenomenon, I hope.

There are two distinct problems that shouldn't be conflated:

    1. Traffic levels are low.
    2. Earnings reports are late.

One of these problems is serious and ongoing, the other isn't serious and is almost certainly only temporary.

Add to that the third problem of CPM being low, but maybe that depends on the individual or it's a secondary effect of traffic being low for normally lucrative articles that have higher earning ads.
Has anyone here had higher CPM levels since the traffic drop in September, compared to the same period previous years?

It's difficult to form a firm opinion about anything when the earnings reports are pending or incomplete.

My earnings report is also pending 4 days ago, but I had this issue last week, and it was fixed later in the week, don't worry.
