Hey there Hubbers...I've pretty much been missing for awhile, but now that I'm back I see very few of the regular Hubbers.
Where are you?
What are you all doing
I'm active in some forums. Two weeks ago, I wrote, edited, and publish a new health article.
Way to go Miebakagh!
I'll have to see if I can find the article and the forum.
Miebakagh
Is the article about the mouth wash?
This article about The Salvador Twig used to clean ones teeth is most interesting.
I did not find it listed on a forum though...did anyone post it for you for discussion???
Yes, Brenda. It's the Medicinal use of the Salvadora Persica as a Mouth washer. It may be one of my fellows who post the article as a thread for discussion.
Miebakagh...
Did someone post it on the forums for you so others could read and discuss?
Brenda, I don't know who. But I kind of doing a search for the forum post or thread. Whosoever that did the thread and post it in the forum, God bless his/her heart. I'm on the search for the thread you mentioned. Thanks.
Might be easier if I just start a new forum...
Not tonight...but tomorrow
Thanks, Brenda, thanks. But at your conveniece. Also, forgive me for not getting you at the start. I though you said you saw the article as a thread. I most be sleepy and sloppy at that night time.
Ok...well I tried to find a forum for it...but I couldn't.
I have been stuck in a Spanish hospital with pneumonia for five weeks. Excellent treatment with top-of-the-line equipment and well-trained staff. I'm a Spanish resident and the only thing I had to pay for was hot chocolate from the vending machine.
Stephen...
Sorry to hear that you've had pneumonia.
It sounds like the hospital treated you well.
Hopefully you are on the mend. But take time to gain your strength back.
Write when you feel up to it.
There are plenty more story plots floating around my head all the time, but I can't find the time to write them. Jumping from one task to another without finishing any. That's awful of me.
Nah...sometimes that's just how we roll.
But watch out....that's how a really good story creeps up on you.
Hello Brenda,
Good to see your face (and name) in the Forum.
I see very few of the original Hubbers, too, so it's good to run across the old timers like me. Been out here through so many changes since 2009. I still contribute from time to time.
I'm still here and elsewhere. I've been republishing some of the chapters of my novel and trying to conform to the new set of standards for photo sizes, titles and text length. It's time-consuming.
Anyhow, I'm glad to read through these responses and see some familiar faces. Hoping you all are well.
Peg
Peg...
It's great to see you.
Perhaps in time some of us will start returning.
I know alot has changed just in a few months.
It's time consuming to change everything, but hopefully it will end with a good outcome.
I feel better each day, although life keeps sending me curveballs.
I'm getting much better at dodging them though or at least realizing there's no reason to try to stand in there way.
Life is what it is...just live it.
Take care & I hope to keep seeing you around.
Well, I don't post much on here for the simple fact that for whatever reason... people don't like me (on Hubpages). Never really understood why, but as they say.."it is what it is" In fact I was the first one to bring up "GA-4" and everyone thought I was out of my mind. (if you dig a little, you'll see the post) other than that, because it's summer time, my payout will be over $500 this month. Sadly, it's not like a several years ago when it was like $1500/month. Traffic way down. Decided to start some affiliate websites. Learned WordPress from scratch. I will be moving my articles from here to my affiliate site. More money to be made, and I have a good following..already ranking higher on Google. That's how I'm doing, thanks for asking
Rob...
It's nice to see you.
Your payout amazes me. I could only hope for such payment.
I took a look at your profile & understand why the summer months treat you well.
Great work.
I am on wordpress but I'm still not too familiar with it.
I had no idea I could even earn money there.
Maybe I'll check it out someday.
Hopefully you will still post from time to time on Hubpages.
I wish you the best.
Hello Brenda,
Thank you for this forum post. It’s good to see some familiar faces and names, with whom I have shared the HubPages journey since the last eleven years. A lot has changed, as we all know.
I do login here, but not everyday. I hope to be regular soon.
Hope you and everyone is doing well.
My best wishes to everyone here.
Hey there Chitrangada...
It was certainly great to see your name of the forums today.
So glad to know you pop in every now and then.
I hope everything is well with you.
I'll look forward to seeing you when you log on.
Hello ChitrangadaSharan, I know what you mean. Things have changed here. But it's nice to see familiar faces. I have quite a number of poems to back read. I remember having a weekly dose of your poems years ago.
Thank you J P Carlos, for remembering my work.
It’s great to see you here.
HubPages has become a part of my life over the years, and it’s a habit.
It would not be wrong to say that this platform acts as my stress-buster.
HubPages has given so many good friends and I have always loved interacting with them.
Stay happy and keep in touch. Thank you.
Been a while for a while. Moved around because of work. Stay indoors because of the pandemic. And now, slowly emerging from the mess. Still trying to reorient myself with Hubpages, a lot has changed.
JP...
Hello. I'm glad to hear you are finally getting back to the world of writing.
Your words are important.
Your profile shows alot of articles showing us how to protect and keep our children safe.
I'll look forward to reading your work.
I posted a new article.. hope you've seen it already. If not, its just in my profile.
The hubbers are somehow inactive I think I also see only a few this time around.
Thanks Gianella....
I'll take a look at it.
Nice to see you. Sending you hugs for continued good health.
Take care.
I'm always in good health Brenda especially when my birthday is just around the corner! The other season I feel good is Christmas Day. These two days of the year is where my health should be at the best conditon! Hugs to you too.
Great to hear!
Happy Birthday! a few days early.
Too busy reporting spam in the forum from the Indian sub-continent.
True. Seems to be alot of Spam these days.
I came across two spam reads yesterday on my feed. I ignored them. Let the spam figher take care of that.
There should be a Ha Ha react. Missing it a lot
Still here just haven't had time to write/post much lately. Too much real-world stuff getting in the way.
Self-imposed hiatus over. Just posted my first new piece in almost two months!
Great news Keith...glad to have you back.
Thanks Brenda for asking.I am what you can say in a semi-active state.I try to post one or two articles every week and reply to forums. But I agree that things are not as active as before.
I do see your articles Ravi, but this seems like a ghost town now.
Guess everyone is like John...invisible
Hello, Brenda.
I hope you are doing well!
I became inactive too for a couple of months due career matters, but in the last couple of weeks I was able to publish a few articles again as a form of break for me.
A have a couple of article ideas in mind at the moment but I am still debating whether to work on them because I have to refocus back on the career matters I have right now.
So glad you are here right now Justine.
Nice to meet you.
We all have issues and must take a break now and then
My health hasn't been the greatest for quite some time...but I'm bouncing back finally.
I lost my boyfriend to cancer Feb 2022 and things have been downhill ever since, bit I feel it lifting and things are much better.
I hope to see you atound...but if you need to take a break...we understand.
Hello, Brenda!
I'm sorry about your boyfriend, but I'm also glad that things are getting better for you.
Yes, you're right. We do need some break from time to time. I hope you're also getting the much deserve rest you deserve when you need it.
I hope that you continue to be safe and healthy.
It's also nice meeting you.
Justine...
Your poem on Unconditional Love is excellent.
It is so touching for one to find that kind if love where everything else Disappears.
A place where there is no sadness until that moment comes When the soul is taken back...leaving one to stand alone.
Yet even then...he waits...holding that love inside his heart.
He knows he will have eternal love again someday.
Aw, thank you for taking the time to read it. <3
It's actually the first poem I published here on Hubpages.
Justine...
You're welcome.
I'm quite amazed by the diversity of your articles.
Haha I'm quite amused too when I look at my profile from time to time. I did not expect that it will turn to be that diverse
Well, I do have a lot of interest on top of my fondness of research. But I think, I will be more inclined on posting articles about relationships (tips, etc) in the future, and articles related to my degree.
I love sorting your poems and word prompts, by the way. I've been seing them since I started here at HP, I just didn't have the chance to engage on those forum posts.
Thanks so much Justine.
I'm glad to hear you enjoy my work.
Don't worry about that diversity...it's actually a good thing.
Keep on writing.
I guess I am a semi-old timer. I kind of fade in and out. I did start a new hub recently and I am updating some of the better trafficked old ones.
Penny...
Hello.
I'd say 13 years is nothing to sneeze at...definitely an old timer.
I really loved your articles on Glofish and that app where you buy land and earn cash...maybe.
I would end up playing the race car game & lose all.
Let's hope you make a profit. At $4.75 per day...I think you're going to make it.
Hi Brenda, i have been reading the articles of fellow hubbers though I have not been participating in the forum discussions. So happy to see your word prompts back. They truly inspire us. Hoping to come up with a response soon. Take care my friend.
So happy to see you Vidya.
I hope your little corner of the world is good and you are doing well.
I look forward to reading your response to the word prompt.
Have a great weekend
Hi Brenda,
Thanks for the message. My corner of the world is good, though I had to deal with some personal issues because of which I was inactive on Hubpages. I am hoping to start writing again. I do have some ideas and am working on them. I realise that writing keeps me motivated and enthusiastic in life and want to keep at it as long as I can.
Vidya...
No worries.
Sometimes we need to deal with other issues.
Just don't let anything get you down to the point where you stop writing.
Words always seem to help...even if you just jot them down on an old piece of paper.
Whenever you toss something together...I'll be here.
At least that's the plan.
Take care
Thanks Brenda, Yes words always help i will follow your advice. I will start right away.
Stephen...
I'll look forward to reading your work.
For now....just rest and get feeling better.
Welcome back. I am updating some old articles and that is all I have right now.
Thank you Umesh.
Updating older articles helps to keep our writing in tact.
Eventually you'll write something new...so don't worry.
I don't think I would count as one of the regulars, but I check in almost every day and sometimes more than once.
Hubpages is one site you can't leave for long.
Farrah...
It's nice to see you checking in with us today.
Since you pop in every now and then, you need to start writing a few new pieces to share with us.
I see from your profile that it's been awhile.
Of course, I'm certain you have your hands full raising a little one.
In any case, keep reading and joining us on these forums whenever you can.
Hi all. Been pretty busy lately with other stuff. Nice to be back.
Jernai05...
Hi...I must ask..
Have you deleted your previous articles?
Your profile shows 12 years on Hubpages but not one article is published.
Good to have you here...but definitely curious.
I'm posting a word or two frequently, except these sentences...the forum seems to be addict to technical glitch...
Miebakagh...
You are funny.
I'm glad you are here.
I pop by every few months. I have a special place in my heart for Hubpages, because it got me started in my current career.
Thanks to what I learned here, I now work two marketing jobs (one managing local marketing, another managing national marketing and SEO), and have a ton of websites and side projects, so I only use Hubpages for testing out content ideas or for backlinks these days.
That's awesome WriLit. I'm an educator by heart, but I also do SEO/SEM copywriting to augment my income. HP is my stress reliever.
Susannah...
That's awesome.
I do believe Hubpages is a great platform to use as a stepping stone to get us where we want to be.
Plus it's great that you don't forget how it helped you and you return to it once in awhile.
Way to go.

Alright, not EVERYONE, but a lot of hubbers (it seems)....When there are people who have joined 1, 2, 4... years ago and they were "last seen" a few hours ago... yet they haven't written anything for months! What is going on with that?I don't understand how someone can go so long...

I have been hub hopping lately and I am disgusted with the incoherent garbage that I am coming across - nothing but poorly translated articles of about 400 words, usually without even any formatting. I would say that more than half of the articles I randomly encounter are clearly nothing but spun...

I just read a Hub that said that the author was going to go to the freelance website and pay people to write articles for him that he would put on HubPages to make himself money from. That can't be okay with the HubPages site, is it? A couple of people commented, including an author that I have...

I think most hubbers are really shy to comment on others' work. They like to read hubs (through the HubPages news~feed), but when it comes to leaving an insightful comment [which most can, if they try a bit], they are really shy.Why is this trend? What is the point of joining this website, if are...

Hey Hubbers,You just turned on your computer. On Hub Pages you have found the best darn Hub on weight loss you have ever seen. This writer is a freakin' Genius. If you had to write an article on weight loss this would be it.But this is no ordinary article on weight loss, It actually...
