I just found this slipped under my door..

   5 minutes ago, it was not there..I went out into the main room and just found a pink envelope, addressed to me, slipped under my door. It is 1:33 in the morning, the day AFTER Valentine's day.
   It is a Valentine's card from my room mate , who is my child's father and estranged husband.
   It is a card with a puppy on the front, on the inside the print on the card says "you make my tail wag"..
   
   Underneath it is signed ..
   
   I LOVE YOU ( words are underlined ) , Scott
   
   
   I am now, sitting here, bawling my eyes out.
   I do not know what to think, I am happy, yet also sad in a way.
   
   so, I can not say I did not get a Valentine, I just do not have one to give back and this I did not expect.
   
   maybe , I am just in shock.
   On the back it is written by hand, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY TRUE VALENTINE...

      The funny thing is . . . that's the kind of thing I have done in the past (although not for VD). 
      You DO remember MY middle name--the name I go by--is Scott.
      Wow.
      And you have a Phoenix tattoo.
      Wait!

   This was the only Valentine I recieved , physically, this year...
   
   It just goes to show that we are all loved, even when we do not feel it or realize it after all...

   I am very shocked..
   it probly stems do to the long years of history we have endured together...we have been friends since 1989...I think he realized I was really down about what has happened this weekend and that I am home now from a vacation that did not ever get to happen....the worst is yet to come I fear from the reason I had to head home.
   
   I am just very surprised because of the terms we are on..but maybe deep inside the man still has a good heart?
   
   Too bad that heart did not show years ago when it should of and maybe he would not be my room mate and my estranged...but things all happen for a reason.
   
   He did not speak to me today but snuck downstairs to slip this card under my door in the middle of the night.

   Awww B.C; I swear sometimes life can put in the most unanticipated moments. B.C you have such a warm and big heart, you said might be he has a big heart. But mean so much to him in his life that he responded this way. It is sweet to read valentine stories.
