HI everyone. I'm coming out of lurkdom. Last week, I edited and resubmitted my Pilates Benefits hub to Calorie Bee, fixing all the editor's suggestions from 6 months ago. Though I had fixed the layout and spelling/grammar, it came back cited for low quality. I don't know why. My Yoga Benefits hub was formatted the same way, and it's still pending on the queue for the past couple of months. Any ideas and suggestions would be helpful? I hope to edit old hubs and publish new hubs real soon, and be more active  as well.  Here's the link:https://discover.hubpages.com/health/Pilates-Practioner-101

      Hi Kristen,
The first thing I noticed is that you don't have an opening image. It's very important to have one. I also noticed that the images you do have in your article aren't properly credited. Be sure your images are also OK to use on Hubpages. In addition, your paragraphs are way too long. They need to be broken up more into smaller paragraphs.
I see you first wrote this article in 2015. A lot of changes have been made on HubPages since then.

I would take a look and see what is on Calorie Bee. You do have some competition. Some of your images are similar to another Pilates article on Calorie Bee, so they appear similar. Even if they are not similar, HP staff could think so. Pilates and Yoga are popular subjects. With that, you need to write your article with that in mind. Something like: "Doing Pilates at Work," "Pilates Improves Tennis," or "Pilates in the Himalayas," I don't know, just guessing here.

Without doing a deep dive into editing, the first thing I noticed is that your topics are out of order. You begin with No. 10, and What is Pilates is at the bottom of the article. Shouldn't that be the first thing you address?

Hi, Kristene! Carb Diva has already pointed out one important point.

I advise pulling that pilate exercise image to the top of the article. Please do not put the title to it. Drag it to the top and remove the title "How to do 100 exercises of Pilates". Always make sure that an appealing image is put at the top of your article while publishing any kind of post. And, you need to rearrange all those point-wise discussions in the best manner. Try to be more clear and consistent in your presentations.

Thanks everyone for your feedback and suggestions once again. I'll work on the edits again and try to resubmit it sometime this spring.
