What am I doing wrong or is it because I am just new? Someone help!
Why didn't you say so? Just kidding. I didn't know either. pinkylee has written a great hub on the subject. it tells how people befriended her here. go and read, I am following you now and others will notice your post. Just enter pinkylee in the search, then click on hubbers in the next screen. click on her to get to her profile and I think the title has tribute in it.
When you publish a new hub go to pingler dot com and submit your hubs url.
That way your hub will be discovered quicker in the search engines and can get you quite a lot of traffic.
Pingomatic dot com is another good site to use.
With these sites you do not submit the rss feed but your hubpage title feed. Very easy to use and all acceptable in practise.
Just new These things take time. Welcome to HubPages. Hop over to the Hub Tribe and hang out.
I don't get many followers, views, or comments mainly because my hubs suck.
Why are people caring about fans anyway? I do not have any fans, and I don't care.
An apple tree does not grow fruit its first day. You need to spend a few months here to being bearing fruit.
Well hello Sweet! More exposure more views! Join in and share your perspective and like minds will find you! Good Luck!
I recently wrote a hub about 'how to get more followers' you may find useful.
To get more views try reading these hubs:

http://hubpages.com/hub/Increase-Your-T … PR4-or-PR5
http://hubpages.com/hub/Increase-Your-T … follow-PR6
http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Truth-About-Backlinks
By using some of the web sites listed in those first 3 links I have got some of my hubs to ranks quite well in Google. I have never ventured into any of the better PR sites, only PR3 and PR4's. One of my hubs today is now on page 1 of google with CNN, Newsweek, Foxnews.... Those are great places to link up your hubs if you care about ranking well in the search engines.
Part of it is because your new, it is a lot to learn and it takes time. I have been here 5 weeks and I'm still waiting for that traffic explosion to happen. Patience is key.
Good luck
you're not doing anything wrong.
I loved the fruit hub.

I thought there was something wrong with my hubs for a second there. lol Thank you for following me! I much appreciate it! I love views and comments, so I know what I am doing is actually getting noticed. I will 100% check out those hubs. Thank you all!
Here's pinkylee's went and found it for you. Welcome to the hub. may you have many smiles here.

you've probably got a bit of mail by now as well. I'm on homework. 48 still going to school. Good Luck!
Wow that is awesome! Never to late for school.
Yes, you are doing a good job, but it takes time. I love your cooking information and recipes.
Now y'all get out there and peek at her hubs; you will find them yummy.
Awww thanks so much Rochelle! I thought I was doing something wrong. lol
There's always room for improvement but you wouldn't already have a hubscore of 80 if it was "wrong". Keep up the good work.
Okay now go join the hub tribe, glassspider invited you. I have to go to bed. Goodnight Sweetkisses, I leave you some (HUGS)

you arent doing anything wrong as others have said ... it just takes time and patience ... another way to expose yourself is to go to the recommend another hubbers hub and post in other threads that's how i did it lol feet first for me lol
I think you are doing fine. I left a comment on one of your hubs.
Sab OH I am not sure if your hubs suck I just dont understand them. Sorry!
Just be patient. You'll probably write a few hubs before you have one that really gets people's attention. Also, taking part in some of the forums helps generate traffic too.

On New Year's Day I acquired my 500th follower. In addition to this, I hope to reach another milestone within the next two weeks - the 500,000th visit to my hubs in 4 years. As far as page visits is concerned my goal now is to double this and reach a million views in the next 2 years. But although...

I have three Hubs about the 2015 Sydney Siege. They were all featured. They do not attract a great deal of views as these are about a local event. However, only one of them has been demoted a few weeks ago.It now sports the " = Not Featured - Traffic" icon. But. ....

I am kind of tired of this whole traffic thing. Everyone else claims great success, and I can't get a view. I have only 2 views today, and 23 views for the whole week.I have tried everything to get traffic, and nothing is working for me. I even joined several social sites, and my traffic has only...

How long did it take you to get to 10,000 views? It took me 4 months and 3 weeks. Just wondering if that's about average, if there is such a thing.
