My Stats Are Delayed by Two Days – How Can I Fix This

    Hi everyone,

I hope you're all doing well.

I'm facing a really frustrating issue: my statistics haven't updated for two days now. Usually, they refresh much faster, but for the last 48 hours they've been completely stuck.

I rely on these stats to track my performance and make important decisions. This delay is making it really hard to plan anything.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is this a known issue, or is there something specific I should do to fix it on my end?

I've already tried logging out and back in, and I've cleared my browser cache, but nothing worked so far.

I'd really appreciate any advice or solutions. I just want to get my stats back to normal as soon as possible!

Thanks in advance for your help.

HP has been pretty stagnant for the last couple of years and it's only getting worse.

I started a thread a couple of days ago about this issue. For me, it's been a week of being frozen in a tundra of lackadaisicalness. HP is no longer what it once was. Since you've been here for four weeks, you missed the proverbial boat. Sorry for the bad news, but it's true that TAG, which owns HP, is mining writers' HP content via AI and other means. A group of us is working on a plan.
Here is the thread about being frozen in the summertime.

Same with me.  Wish HubPages would announce something.

The best decision you could make is to stop wasting your time here.

Yes, Bev. It has come to that. It's been a good ride. Sadly, TAG is ignorant. The company keeps soiling itself. You'd think it would learn.

I sent a help message at 20:05 EST on 7-17-25 about the stats not updating.  Will post any response.

I hope you get one, Robert. Matt usually shows up in these forums to let us know the "glitch" is either being worked on or has been fixed. So far he's a no-show.

I'm not surprised. Obviously, we're dead to TAG/HP.

Got reply on personal email. Yesterday @10:29 AM:
We are working on a fix. Should be updated today.

                Thanks,

I'm running about a day behind with my emails.  I just got to it.

Who responded, Robert? Was it Matt? Why hasn't the respondent posted to this thread?

I'm having the same problem, and they have not moved my latest article to discover.hubpages despite it meeting all qualifications.  These delays are unhelpful for users and look unprofessional for the editors and site managers.

Hubpages is done. You can read all the related threads here: https://hubpages.com/forum/hubpages

By the way, there are no site managers or editors left.

I posted a question on the latest blog post by our HP that was informing about the removal of the Q&A feature from October onwards. I doubt if they ever read that.

Yes, the departure of the editors was really the end.

There's no curation, everything goes to Discover if it gets through the software filtering.

The only staff consists of a small operations team.

If getting one view a day and a couple of cents is working, then HP is working.

I think the only reason it's limping along for now, though, is so's TAG can bolster their other sites, through things like article mining and SEO links.

For the hubber, this site is useless.

I can see your point.  You're a high hit getter on HubPages.  It seems HubPages, or should I write Maven, made some moves that are a big disadvantage to those who get many hits.

I read your "The Advantages and Disadvantages of Tourism" article.  Many good points about the pros and cons.

I had my best period for views and earnings during the Maven/TAG period.

The tourism article you mention used to garner 1000 views/day at one point. It’s lost 99% over two years.

The reasons for the downfall of HP are multiple and not always simple. The tech world has changed a lot.

Do you think video has kicked writing to the sidelines?

Video had a negative effect but it was never life-threatening. AI is revolutionizing online search and strangling off traffic to webpages.

In the beginning, videos enhanced articles, making the content more engaging. However, the increase in short-form videos enabled by AI has led to a surge in lower-quality content, such as that found on TikTok. These short videos, which fragment attention spans and disrupt reading habits, hinder traditional articles from attracting focus. We now see shorter videos and a complete switch to video news updates.
