   How can a thread about love turn into a fight within four or five posts?  No wonder the divorce rate is through the roof.
   
   Love poetry is mostly for people out of love who wished they were in.

      I disagree about why love poetry is written.. love is king of all emotions and beyond...letting it flow keeps love alive in us and sends it out
      
      unrequited love poems would be for those feeling a loss, i thnk?  just saying

         Agree in principle - except that I think they appeal to representations of love not to the real thing. Plato had something to say about rhetoric and most love poetry is almost pure rhetoric I think?  Translated to modern language - he had Socrates argue with Ion about how rhetoric is by nature - bullshit.

   I done kicked yo' ass right out the do'.

   well I just have to put my 2 little cents in here. . . I am a HUGE lover of any and everything I*n*v*i*c*t*u*s writes. Not only are her words full of every emotion one could possibly feel. . she is one of the most loving Hubbers this side of the world and beyond. .
