I have been here for some time now, actually since 12/30/08 (as CC Riter) with a little break last spring. Then I returned. I must thank hubpages for letting me do my own thing, sometimes silly and even stupid at times. But I have made some good friends here. I have enjoyed it immensely. I think you all for putting up with me and to those of you who read my stuff, thanks for all your comments and also to those who read but don't comment. I can understand that.
I especially want to thank you, including hubpages for allowing me to take a break for a time to clear my mind of some hard things that have been bothering me; mostly at night in my dreams.
Thanks to all of you for your concern for me when I was in the hospital. I am much better now and that, I think, is what prompted me to exorcise my nightmares that have plagued me of late. Without you all, it would never have happened.
Much love to you all and peace. Charlie, a friend to all who pass this way if you let me.
love to hear that you are much better now
sending lots of love right back to you . . .
wow, sorry to hear about your troubles earlier, but im glad to hear your doing okay now. although we've never spoken to each other much, you've always seemed like a decent guy, so I hope nothing but the best for you in life as you truly are a great writer and a gentleman too.
Did you just win an Oscar? *grin* Sorry for my flippancy, but from what I have read of your stuff you have a wonderful sense of humor, but more than that you have a wonderful way with words.
You were one of the first 'hubbers' I read when I came here and you (plus many others) have influenced the way I write, and have helped me immensely along the way.
I do not know you as much as many, but I hope now that you are better the rest of unfortunate not to know you well, get the chance to get to know you.
Glad the clouds are clearing for you. I know many here have enjoyed your writings and comments.

Good grief, we love you Charlie. You're an HP icon, for crying out loud. Glad things are on the up and up.
Oh you people are just so wonderful, all of you. I'm feeling almost like Will rogers in saying there isn't one hubber I've met that I do not like. You all have changed my life so much in so many ways. Love and peace to all. Now I must get to work after having a nice breakfast with my 'family'.
Hey Ralwus i am so glad that you are doing better. I am sorry that your dreams were plaguing you. I wish I could have helped in some way. You are a great guy and don't deserve to have been "abused" by your nightamres. *HUGS* I am glad that you are back and your mind is clearer.
Charlie we dont talk much but you have been one of my supporters since day one.
I love all the hilarious comments you bring to the forums. It was devastating to hear you were sick but then relief to find out you were doing better.
As for the dreams just give them a Rawlus kick in the ass.
Glad you are feeling better and look forward to a 1000 more laughs
I have more to thank you for than you to me. So thank you for everything. Ralwus always keeps it cool.

Charlie, how sweet! People rarely take the time to appreciate and thank others for being. I have enjoyed your writings, as I am one that comments on a few but reads a lot. Thanks to you, too, for being part of this place.

Johnny has early ileum. Apparently, because of his bronchitis and COPD, his intestines did not get enough oxygen and they partially shut down. The bronchitis also triggered the atrial flutter. He's doing better and is now on a liquid diet, so at least he won't starve. He's not in as much pain,...
