   Just wanted to thank everybody here for all the support and advice. I'm a somewhat slow starter here on HP... not a lot of time to dedicate to it, but I've been plugging away writing a few hubs when I can, and trying to absorb all of the information everyone has offered.  I remember a few months ago getting so excited when I got up to 100 page views total.
   
   This morning, I had the pleasant suprise of seeing my 7 day total hit 200! (My 30 day has been over 500 for a few days now too!)
   
   I know its small potatoes compared to a lot of hubbers, but I'm quite excited.  Another carrot to keep me going.
   
   So, thanks so much to everybody who has helped me start to get the hang of "this online writing thing."

   I've hit 1400 and I'm just thrilled to death, lol. I don't have very many hubs, as I'm back to work, slowly but surely building it up. 100 was a huge milestone for me because I knew absolutely nothing about how to any of this. I've had to learn everything on my own and the HP community is so fantastic with all there wonderful help and tips. Great place to learn how to get the hang of online writing!

      That's great She-rah! Keep up the good work.  It sounds like we're in a similar situation... although you're moving along at a bit of a faster clip than I am.  I do this in bits and pieces when I can (lunch break at work... a few minutes before bed, etc.) and I had NO idea what I was doing when I started.  But, I'm learning more every day, and you are right, the community is wonderfully supportive.
      
      I'm hanging on at 1397 right now... oughta be able to hit that 1400 mark today.

         Just hit 1506, yay! You're doing great, should get quite a bit over 1400 over the weekend. Do you notice that you get a lot more page views on the weekends?! Wish I had more time to write but my pace has slowed tremendously for now. I hope to hit it hard in the winter when I have more time and can incorporate everything I've learned. I'm just working on tweaking and backlinking the hubs I already have and working on getting my very first website up and running. I'm so excited and extremely nervous too! I've never done anything like this before and Facebook was hard for me to get the hang of, My kids need to help me, lol!

            Yes, I am excited, and confused, and so many different things.  I haven't done much with backlinking... I mostly just use Shetoldme for now.  I just flat out don't have the time to do the writing, and the backlinking and other work that goes into it... especially now that I'm spending more time doing keyword research and such.  I don't think I'll ever get around to getting a website up!
            
            I do see a lot more views on the weekend, however today has been dead for me.    Hoping maybe the nice weather is just keeping everyone out and I'll pick up a bit at night.  This was a good week though, so keeping my fingers crossed the bad day is an anomole (sp?), not a trend.
            
            You sound like you are having just as much fun with this as I am.  I love a new adventure and a challenge, and this is certainly both of those! I'll have to keep updated on your progress... I expect your going far, and soon!

      Wow Cags! I'll see how many months it takes me to get there! Some of these numbers just amaze me... and what really gets me is how fast it seems to be able to grow.  Here's to hoping things continue in the right direction.
