We're going to my daughter's tomorrow for Easter. Johnny's smoking his famous ham, and we're all making side dishes. After lunch, the grandkids will hunt eggs. My whole fam will be there - all 3 daughters, all three sons-in-law, and all 7 grands!
Thanks - it has been a bastard - but I bought a mountain bike and am getting my ass off the couch and into the saddle. Crashed pretty hard last week though. My wife is still pissed I bled all over the best sheets. This is me now, but I am working on it.
I don't have my daughter this Easter, and holidays without my daughter just feel like any other day, but I see her next week and I'm going give her a huge Easter Basket and stuffed bunny. The post office lost her Valentine's gift.
Awww...I'm sorry Fluffy. I know how you feel. I used to hate it when my ex whisked the girls away on Christmas morning - especially when they didn't want to go!
sounds similar to what my marriage was like, they just never give up! They don't understand Everyone is Entitled to their Own opinion! but, I've discovered they work well as friends....
LOL Sounds like you're having better luck than I did, when I told my ex's family something similar, oh man! they never stopped trying to convince I was Wrong!
if only we could cash in our change in paypal account. I'll buy you a ticket if you really want to go. Its Easter. It would be waiting at the counter for ya
Me...I'm going to grill a nice couple of fillets...and see if I can find where I stored the hammock...this past Fall. Would be a great day for a drive out to the country...as well!
I like that whole area...though I'm partial to my neck of the woods. That is all kind'a different landscape from Houston though...like the hills and the rivers running through towns...a beautiful area...for sure.
I'm working on yard work! Especially since this storm just blew through and left a maze of tree branches all over my yard and blew around my leave piles that I had failed to bag up yesterday! lol
The wind just started howling here. I had to run around and shut all the windows. I'm going to my sister's tomorrow for Easter. It's supposed to be warm and overcast.
I'm taking my grandson to my husband's church on Easter. It is a small country United Pentacostal church where they will be having a huge 'pot luck' afterwards. I thought it would be nice for us to go as a family, since we normally attend different churches. I will enjoy the fellowship with the down-home counry folks. Then I plan to take my grandson to see my father, since he will be alone and it's only the 2nd Easter since my Mom passed away.
I'm sure the kids will be hunting eggs at the church, too. So it will be a great memory.
I'm going to see Alice In Wonderland. Who wants to join? Here's a groovy tune http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HmJQyS8QVw to get you in the moodand a trailer cliphttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeWsZ2b_ … eature=fvw
I loved "Inception," and...well, "Tangled," though I had to hand over my adulthood to watch it. I loved it! I found it very believable. In my defense, this wasn't the best year for movies. What was you favorite movie this year?
Hi Hubbers,I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article Beswick Figurines -- Alice in Wonderland Series: Great Collectable Gifts. What can I do to improve? Thanks!
What was your favourite book as a child?Mine was the Chronicles of Narnia, and they remain a firm favourite. I remember receiving them in a boxed set, as a very special present at Christmas when I was seven. Lots and lots of books are my favourites though, and they all still have...
"Do you know why a nevar and a writing desk are the same?" Mad hatter's riddle. This is a riddle that was never answer from Alice in wonderland. There is no official answer so I want to know what you people out there can come up with. Be sure to make it as tricky as you can please or just...
