   Today was...
   a very long drive to Hood River, OR to take a friend to see his mom who has suffered a stroke. She is declining rapidly. But it's nice to be with his family and see them rallying around her. All is well, overall.

   half gone by the time I got up, since I worked very late last night. I got nothing done in the few hours before I left again: to work out and attend group therapy.  But I don't care, I'll do it tomorrow.

   I'm all tuckered out from yard work all week. It had been hot as a branding iron out there too. I need a beer. Take it easy on yerself girl. Wouldn't want you to get no hangnail or stub those purty toes now.
