Chatter's Thread.......
Hey Hubbers,
It seems to be missing from the forum. It appears that many hubbers only come to help and then lurk above watching the forums.
It seems as though there is no one chatting on a regular basis and that is because many hubbers have left the forums due to other people.
So, I contend to now create a Chatter's Thread where you can simply chat and get to know others. There are a few other threads like this but those are being lost.
Some come on in and stay a while.....

Hi Everybody! A bit of conversation sounds good right about now....
But, I gotta do some 'homework' lol.- Yeah, unfortunately! I've done an awful lot of that this week, and been surviving on about 6 hours of sleep every night.

My group decided to create a 'Bingo' type 20 questions game and I have to write out the questions to go into the fish bowl & mark the numbers & answers on the 'Bingo' cards.

And, how do you think I have come to have as many posts as I do? Because, in the early months of being here- there were more GAME threads to take part in and have fun with.
Now, not so much.I'll get my alter egos to start a few threads like that.
But for that I will have to bring them to forums and first do the threads like I am a newbie like all alteregos do.

Be angry (in a playful way)
Take them outside (after they've changed into swimsuits)
Fill a water balloon and slam in on the ground a decent distance from their feet so they only get a little 'splash' (playful anger turns into laughter and fun!)
I have an older sister and remember times of picking fights with her.

Got up this morning and replanted my baby plants into the large planter my boys had already filled with dirt from the ground. It's nice to actually be able to do some gardening / landscaping work.
Okay, so, had my presentation today. I was nervous as h@ll!! Never did like presentations in school, or talking in front of the class, or working with others on a group project (cuz I wasn't assertive enough to speak up)
I was in a group of 3. One was a guy from Costa Rica, about my age - he talked a lot and had no trouble taking charge. The other guy was younger, but not a recent high school grad - he has learning disabilities or some other issues and is very quiet (not assertive at all from what I can tell) We had a great presentation, but...
We had difficulty getting it together! We didn't even run a rehearsal, just kinda went with the flow...it turned out okay though. The instructor said the first guy needed to be less in charge, (he did a power point presentation comparing proactive & reactive habits by way of planting a seed to grow a fruit tree, and kinda went on forever -lol- after adding more than originally agreed to) I needed to be more in charge,(I handled the game and a journal assignment afterwards) and the third guy needed to speak up more and read his notes less. (he handled the conclusion)
btw - the game was a hit. It was all about the choices you make that you want to become habits which will determine your lifestyle. Choices aren't always easy - and there were no right or wrong answers. It's all about the choices you make.
The journal assignment - When you're old and gray you may look back on your life and wonder if you were proactive enough to begin with the end in mind and put first things first. Write a page or so describing what you'd like to remember at that point in your life.
A poem I wrote for the presentation:
A tree of priorities
A tree of choice
Fruits of their labor
Which will they be
Freedom of choice
Or, freedom to be?
Just wanted to share.....Thanks, it was exciting after I got over being so nervous. lol Now my team left it up to me to divide the points from the instructor. We got 141 out of a possible 150 - and they can't be divided equally.

Oh man....my boys wanted to go bowling (I've never bowled before in my life...) and I think I broke my middle finger...lol...it hurts like an SOB!! ow, ow, ow!! lol...yeah, it's a little swollen too...lol...I probably wont go bowling anymore...

She's in New Zealand and I'm in Vietnam so that complicated things too. On second thoughts, perhaps that made it easier because I couldn't be the artistic director.

Okay, who is accounted for?
Actually, I am spending limited time in the forums. But, with all the glitches in HubPages, the forums are the only thing to do.
I don't write offline, except for my business model I am developing. And, I'm not in the mood to dive into that right now, so hence the forum visit.
I have been changing my celebrity hubs, adding more content to them, to give google more to work with. Besides, I'd rather they not strip my ads from my hubs either.I haven't had any problems with HP today. It must be pretty frustrating when you just want to get something done. I've spent all day thinking about backlinking and now I am loosing the will to live.
Oh whatever happened to my dream of writing up amusing anecdotes about family-life - oh yes, I remember now, I chose money over my idealism! This actually feels like work, like a proper job and everything

Cool, I guess. It might depend on whether or not you like the accent. If you do, then you're missing out on them not being around. If not, then you're not missing anything.
