My score has plummeted from a 98 to 94 in just five hours. Why would there be such a drastic change so quickly?

Hppens to me all the time-- then it goes up for no apparent reason. I don't attach a lot of importance to it.

Agreed Rochelle. It does not seem to affect income or make any discernible difference. smile

Yep, to what they both said.  It happens. Mine goes all over the place too.

That's not a drastic change, and that's just how HubScores work.

It happens to all of us.  It's nothing to worry about.  For me personally, I wouldn't begin to worry until it dropped below 90. It's also something you'll never figure out the rhyme or reason to so don't let it bug you.  Just keep writing quality hubs and it'll be fine.

KCC you have the same bottom line I use. Under 90 and I find that I have messed with my profile and wrecked it again. I have not been under 90 for a long time now. smile The 93 I have at the moment is the lowest for a long time. I just wrecked my profile again! Gotta go fix it.

I haven't changed my profile for quite sometime. Is that something I need to do?

KCC-- I was at a flea market today and saw a clapping monkey toy. I thought I should buy it and send it to you, but I didn't and I don't know where you live anyway.

Glad to know that. When I got up this morning it was 95 by noon it reached 98. I was excited because it had never been that high before. Then within no time it started falling.

I know now not to let it rock my boat.

I think it helps to change your profile periodically.  Just gives the bots something new to crawl.  It's like new material.  It can't hurt.

I also think its a good idea to make a minor tweak to your profile weekly or so. If a web page changes on a regular basis then Google will notices and swing by more often possibly.

Same thing for hubs too. This is much more important than the profile page.

Mine always bounces around from 100, to 96, to 98, to 99, to 94 for no apparent reason.
