An interesting comment was made to me today. It was basically what I was going to do with my websites and Hubpage account when I consider making a will.
A "will" in Australia is a legal document you write that details how you want your assets dispersed in the event of your death. I do not know what it is called internationally.
It got me to thinking that with Adsense accounts etc and the money we make, that this is an asset and wondered how many other people considered this in case the worse happens.
I started writing down all my passwords and url's so I can pass them onto my children, just in case.
Any thoughts on this?
It's called a "will" in the U.S. too. Good point. I'm hoping my Hubs will eventually become my "retirement income", though, so I'm hoping to be around long enough to see that happen.
wow - thanks for this suggestion! At last I have something to will to my kids - but I better get busy, if I were to croak tomorrow, I doubt if they'd be impressed on under $3 a month!
Its called a Will in the UK too, this is so Ironic because I have been thinking of wills recently, didn't think of this
Smart idea could be a good one to pass on to the kids, best get that money rolling in quick then.
Oh man how would I determine heirs for my hubs willy wonka style?
great news! I better get hammering the keys so they get more than a few cents. lol Thanks and aloha!
My nineteen year old son has already shot gunned one site I have when I am gone.
I thought to myself, "thanks for your appreciation of my nineteen years service".
Oh well, Kids!!! Still it is something they can have that will make them money for years to come.
I didn't know you could leave your adsense income to your loved ones. Really?
I wonder if you can will your earnings to your favorite charity?

What are your goals for February on HubPages?January was a difficult month for me. My son had a set-back in school and I wasn't able to write at all. I'm hoping to write more this month and hopefully be able to spend more time on HubPages daily.

Was curious after seeing most of the long term - experienced Hubbers. So thought of doing some research. Topic explains it. Let's try to be truthful here. What really keeps you going on here on HP? Why should Hubpages be the First choice for any Writer? Please try to support your idea with...

Since Google AdSense hasn't approved me, my hubs aren't earning anything from anywhere. I've been told that ads show up on my page but that they belong to hubpages and I won't get paid for those. I guess hubpages is earning money off my hubs but I am not. Is this the case? I have other hubs I would...

I have been sharing the links to other hubs using my referral tracker. For newbies, it can be found at the bottom of each hubpage. This is earning me a little extra money. I don't spam, but share the links that I know my friends would like. Now that Google traffic is down, I figure this helps me,...

I just bought a new robotic vacuum with my earnings from part of this year from HubPages. Usually I spend my HP Paypal money on things for my dogs like leashes, tags, crates, training devices, etc. I have wanted a robotic vacuum for years now, so I snatched up a Neato pet hair...

I got 2 interesting email yesterday. You have a Liberian scam artist on hubpages. Email me and I will forward the emails to you, so you can block the person from hubpages, or whatever you do about this. It’s important that you do something about this. I had a friend who got roped into one of these...
