If you had to pick anyone to be your hero, who would that person be?
My father for all the great advice he gave me, even though at the time I might not have completely appreciated his wisdom.
Audrey Hepburn for what she did and how she gave so much of herself, unconditionally,
My hero is definitely my mum. She is so capable. She is a career woman yet she is always there for me and my brother. I love her
My father and mother, Can I have two heroes
Children living in indian slums... who sometimes survive the whole day on water and plain bread...sleep under an open sky...and still manage to smile through it all!
My mother she guided me , protected me and loved me conditionally and unconditionally, when I fell she would pick me up and when I made it she was by my side. She is my hero!
My Dad. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it while he was alive. Fortunately, becoming him.
Somebody I know very well in my real life, but definitively not an actor or musician.
Bruce Willis - as in Armageddon or Die Hard - can be an option for me
I have been gone just 4 weeks and this was around in another thread just before I left ! great minds huh !
I wish to dedicated this place for my parents with my helpful my younger brother(Andy).
I suppose I have a few- but my mother & grandmother have really been the two that have shown me how to carry intelligence & attempt to always show kindness to keep a happy, healthy, loving heart (or so my grandma has said).
blondepoet-for facing all the trials she has had to face and rising above them. For the heart, the soul, the courage, the wit, and the strength to not give up and make each day a better one!
I also think our truest of truest heros are our teachers,
My junior high crush who saved me from falling down a 3-step stairs! LOL!
I have many heroes. My first hero is my dad for everything he taught me to do, second is my mother for everything she taught me to be, third my children for teaching me what it means to be a hero. And lastly, all men and women that have served or are currently serving their country in the military.
They have sacrificed everything to give normal people a chance to idolize heroes.
May God forever shine on those that give everything with receiving nothing on their minds while they do it.

Misha who had 21 hubs when I last saw just a couple of days back has now only 13 hubs. Is he removing hubs or are they unpublished by moderators? He is my hero and inspiration so I am a bit concerned.

If you could date a comic book hero, which one would you choose?I would choose my favorite super hero...The Incredible Hulk. I'd be sure not to annoy him or make him mad! It would also be nice to have my own personal body guard

Who is your hero and why?

Who is a bigger hero, Batman or Superman?Because Batman has no superpowers, he is much more vulnerable than Superman. Since he is putting himself more at risk, are his actions more heroic? Can a being with supernatural powers - Superman, God, etc. - do anything that is truly impressive and heroic?

I have started a series of hubs on Superman called "How to Revive the Character". I am aware of the fact that, at the current time, the destiny of the Superman is in limbo as there seems to be a lack of interest in the character as a fictional superhero.I want to know what your thoughts...
