Good Monday everyone, thank you very much for your fantastic contributions to last week's hubmob. So far we have an amazing 59 hubs on Protecting our children. 59 hubs that will hopefully help to raise awareness about very important topics related to children's welfare.
This week, we are going to kick the ball and get all sporty to hub about the up coming FIFA World Cup 2010. This is the week for all the football fans to tell us about their favourite teams, FIFA related celebrations and everything related to your favourite sport. For those of us who are not very familiar with the topic, this is a good time to do some research, learn and share your knew knowledge about the history of the world cup, previous and future venues, participating countries, etc. And of course there is always a place for commercial hubbers who wish to promote FIFA related products and make some extra money on the way. It is up to you how you tackle the topic and score your goal.

Thanks for being a HubMobster!!!
Here http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Write-a-HubMob-Hub you will find how to start your hub correctly and how to add the RSS feed and graphic. I hope it helps.
i have jsut written a hub!
have tried the rss feed with no luck, i think an early night and try again!
Is my first time on "weeks hubmob" and i would like to know if my hub is in accordance with the rules. Here is my hub:
I am writing some hubs about world cup, one for each participating team and I wonder if I can post here all these hubs that are written during the week.
I await your feedback
Hi dannywoodpx, yes your hub is a hubmob.
1)Started your hub from the answer the request LINK above
2)Added the hubmob graphic for this week
3)Wrote relevant content
You only need to add the RSS feed. As you were the first one publishig a HUbMob hub probably the feed was empty at the time but it will soon fill up with hubs.
As long as you follow the rules you can post in here your links to your FIFA HubMob hubs. And, you can write as many hubs on the topic as you want.
Thanks for taking part in this week's HubMob
So sad, this one is out of my comfort zone, but I look forward to the ones you great hubbers come up with. Guess I'll do some tweeking, twitting and writing on other subjects until the next time.
My 2nd Hub:
Is about Ghana team for this world Cup. I think they will take a place in last 16 and then go home...
danny, I would add to what Princessa said, you can continue to post after this week (after new topics have been introduced), so long as you start from Princessa's link, etc. Just contact me to let me know when you publish, and I will continue to add your hubs to the roundup hub.

This is a humourous hub about what to do if your an Irish supporter during the World Cup (as we're not in the tourney). As an irish supporter I'd be quite happy to do any of the mentioned ideas. Haha
Hope you enjoy the hub and try not to take it too seriously.

I love the World Cup venues and the theme song so here my weekly hub mob :
A history of the USA's involvement in the world cup. USA has had more of an impact than you might think and even boasts a few records.
Not being a World Cup fan I had to do some reseach but found it rewarding and very entertaining. I decided to go with a lighter note about the subject. Hope you enjoy my hub: http://hubpages.com/hub/Tips-for-Living-with-a-FIFA-Fan
World Cup 2010 - Serbia Team:
In my opinion, is one of the teams who can expect "everything and nothing". If they are inspired can be a serious case in this world cup.
They go to quarter-finals, not more.
Eto`o is now a betteer player than he was in Barcelona and will lead this team in the world cup...
Here's one for the ladies...

FIFA, the International Federation of Association Football, is the governing body of football, or soccer, as Americans call it. This is your gateway to a wealth of articles on FIFA, national teams, and the World Cup.
Slovakia in WC 2010:
Marek Hamsik is a great player and i think this world cup he will show that can play in Barcelona or M. United
If England work together and get their chemistry right, they have a great chance at winning the world cup, Age is just a Number!
May be the most exotic team that will be in South Africa...I think the best they can do is scoring one goal in this World Cup...

Thanks for giving some of us a chance to think outside the box and write about a topic we would never think of. I have looked at the preparations that South Africa has made for 2010 FIFA World Cup and also shared my views of how I as well as many people will benefit from the soccer event.
Thanks for a fantastic topic!
I forgot to submit mine here so here it is

I'm not a huge sports fan, and sometimes I feel left out when there is a big game coming up, such as the World Series, the SuperBowl, or World Cup soccer.
How to Pretend You're a World Cup Soccer Fam
By the way, I have been unable to upload photos to HubPages for about a month, which is disappointing, because this week's HubMob logo is really great.
Betty, did you contact someone from HubPage staff about the problem with photos?
Maybe there was an update and your browser needs a plugin? Maybe you could restore your computer settings to an earlier date. You said the photo problem has been going on about a month. Maybe restore to 6 weeks ago. You won't lose any word processing docs etc.

This describes my transition from former football hater to impatiently-waiting FIFA World Cup 2010 fan.

The Italians are always candidates to the 1st place. Most people don´t like their cynical kind of football but personally i apreciate a lot...
This is my country! My team! I think for us a good result is to reach the quarter-finals. We don´t have half the team we were in 2004 and 2006 and Ronaldo can´t play alone...
I think the hard job is done for this team and the presence in South Africa is already a memorable date.

Hey there HubMobsters! Before I even get started on this post, I feel like I should let everyone who is reading this know exactly how awesome it was to see all of us Hubbers come together for last week's HubMob, which was the first one that we have ever had here on HubPages. We had 30+ Hubbers...

For this week's HubMob, I have decided to cover a topic that is truly close to many people's hearts - their pets. I have never really been a pet owner, but as I meet more and more people I realize the huge role that they play in the lives of others around me. So, this HubMob is basically a way for...
