         Yeah, honey, but REALLY!!!!  Howsomever, you know what???  I found a new hubber (to me), SomewayOuttaHere, I read the latest diary, about a burning ceremony of an Indian nation (First Tribe, Canada), and I just was overwhelmed...you and she have that gift for taking us there and moving us to tears...letting us see through your eyes, the most important writer's gift of all.

    I would positively like to know how to post a picture in a forum.  I've looked for information on it but can't find it.  I'd love to join the picture parade on this forum but my lack of know how prevents me from doing so.

          I did that before I posted and I've tried it again and I end up in weird and wonderful places but none the wiser.  I think maybe I've got the smiley things figured out but the pictures are still escaping me and I have no desire to drag down this neat thread with my confusion so I will leave it for another time and place.  Thanks Beth100 - one day I'll be sailing around HubPages like a pro!

             i just learned - that's why I'm having fun with it.
             
             - find a pic
             -right click on the pic - select copy
             - then I go to the HTTP address - highlight it - and copy it
             - go to the Post
             -type in [img]-and then control v (to paste the URL)
             -type in[/img]
             -no spaces; preview your post and you have a pic

       right click on a picture located on the web, then click properties. Copy the url address that shows. Using that, follow the instructions in the formatting tips here.

    Command is [img]and[/img]. The first one sets the command in motion and the latter closes off the command function. There must be a space in between each bracket on both ends of the link you put between the command functions.

       You are sainted Cagsil - I swear (not a bad swear).  I keep seeing you over and over in these hubs helping others out and I am in awe of your ability to extend yourself and lend yourself to others!  Thank you so much. 
       
       The picture loaded with your kind assistance is of three of five puppies our Papillon parents produced just before Christmas.  Looking at their pictures makes my heart sing and I hope it lends some Positivity to the thread, especially after all my fumbling about in here.
       
       Thanks to all of you that attempted your kind and gentle surgery on my numbed mind!  Has been a long day here and I was looking for some Positivity - found it in spades on this forum.
