If your were going away to another country (One not having what your accustomed to)  for one month and the place you were to be staying phoned to enquire as to one thing you would like to have made available to you during your stay...what would it be?

MINE, hands down a supply of Organic Green TEA!

Whats the ONE thing you could not live without for a month?

I do love fruit, but so addicted to green tea and have been for years, love it hot in the morning, iced the rest of the day taking a glass of iced green tea to bed with me...  GOOD stuff.

I like green tea too, but I noticed a peculiar thing. If you do not have money to buy it, those stupid people at the store don't want to sell it to you!

katiem2posted 13 years agoin reply to this

Money is not the issue the issue is availability.  You can't buy what they don't have... so the people your staying with call you in advance to make sure they prepare for you to have the ONE thing!  They may have to ship it from you country for you.

          get it?  smile smile wink

It depends, if I was paid lots to go there I would be OK. If not I would have to take a laptop to keep up my work on Hubpages & Adsense smile

if I'm asked - then here it is - I need a good coffee in the a.m.; so, I'd need a french press, coffee bean grinder, good organic dark roast beans, kettle to boil water, electricity, clean water, real cream (not creamer products), and a good coffee mug (not styrofoam)....that's how I like my coffee... I'd have no hesitation to say exactly what i would want for a month.

oh yea - i'd need a scoop for the coffee grounds.

Cool never used a french press, but I hear great things about the process, does that require filters?

        1. SomewayOuttaHere profile image60

no - it's a press - filters (yuk!) taste like paper...

yea - for sure!  and nice feather pillows and a duvet - especially since it's for a month, but don't think I could without a good coffee - so I'd have to ask for the works!  LOL

Katie its WAY too hard to say just one thing.

I first thought my diary!  That goes EVERYWHERE with me.

Then I read the other comments in the thread and thought oh no it would have to be my laptop with WIFI (no its not a given everywhere in the world) hmm

Then my jug so that I can make coffee/tea if its not available.....

The essential list just goes on so I had to stop! smile
