   I'm temporarily closing this thread, I severely underestimate the amount who would apply.
   
   I'm up to my ears in submissions and in order to deliver on my promise on timely inclusion, I'm going to have to put a stop to the inclusions (until they've all been done)

            I'm aware of that relache, but I still don't see how I fit in.  If you ar suggesting that the links gained are of low quality, you may be right. But they are certainly not harmful.

   @relache, if there was a requirement to link back to www. best-of-hubpages. com/ or any another site in return for the link then it would be a linking scheme, but there isen't.

      Ok look, I am attempting to offer what I thought would be a useful and free service (my rant isn't directed at you Peter), there is NO hidden agenda. There are no negative consequences, real or imagined. This is not a scheme.
      
      It has been done by other Hubbers who own personal blogs, and they have been applauded for offering the service. Instead, I find a highly skeptical and suspicious welcoming committee.

      okay got it, can't cut and paste, there is a space where there shouldn't be.
      checked the site out. requirements say description must include a single self serving link what is that?

         Diane, I added spaces to the URL so that it wouldn't be clickable (to show that I'm not after a cheap backlink).
         
         A single self-serving link is a link in the desciption of your hub that points wherever you want it to. In short, I don't want spammy descriptions, you already get a one-way link as it is!

   No need to answer, the link is live and indexed by Google. Thanks again. That took about 20 mins in total. Personally I hope that everyone else remains skeptical

      Yes, the blog is indexed very rapidly and ideally this service is of use to newer hubs. Older hubs won't benefit too much.
      
      On a side note, I'm queuing the rest of the submissions for now, otherwise I'm going to be spanked by Google!
      
      The queue will resume tomorrow morning (its 2.18am here)
