We have a summer house in our garden, and it’s my favourite place to go and write. Yes I'm a man in a shed! I was just wondering if anyone else has an unusual place where they like to work. Do some people sit on a boat, under a tree or in the pub. Where do you find inspiration?
I mostly use my iPad to prepare the text. Unfortunately, I can't actually edit capsules with that, so I have to return to my desk to actually create it.
Maybe I should have given a little more thought to that title. LOL
Yeah, but seriously.....I do hub on the toilet as this is nice and cool in there and quiet too or I have been known to hub at the local cafe with my smaller laptop...whatever floats my boat or floats in the toilet!
wow, I like these garden house and conservatory locations, nice.
writing outside by the pool, local cafe, park bench or at my desk.
I find inspiration everywhere.
sometimes I read hubs in bed on the ipod.
I like to hub in my sitting room where I can watch TV at the same time for inspiration. just like now
For me inspiration just pops in. like a knock on the door when your tired or busy. sometimes its like a unwelcome guest .but i still let it in. i scribble on bits of paper with crayon or just etch it into a piece of cardboard with a spent fountain pen . what ever it takes to free the thought from my mind.
that's not just a answer to a forum question either.
in my bedroom. sitting or lying in the bed and keeping the keyboard on my lap and monitor on a table beside the bed.
In bed. I just post up with my macbook and keep writing until I'm bored.
Except I usually find myself spending way much more time reading then writing.. need to work on that
I like to work on ideas at work. Late at night when all my people are asleep and I have some downtme.

The subject line just about says it. I've been at a bit of a loss lately. Some of the things I usually use, such as free/automatic writing are beginning to bore me. Any suggestions?

I have had this hub running for a while now and although traffic is ok I wonder if there is anything else I could do to improve it. My Adsense income from this hub is just 0.01 since it started. All comments welcome.
