Another new thingy? Or am I just blessed with catchpa's coming out my ears?
Just tried signing in and no captcha for me.
The only thing I can think is - are you using a different computer?
Nope. Same one. I signed in and out (for the fun it brings I guess) and still there.
Humph lol - well it sure is as clear as day to me. Wonder why? Here's a screen shot - probably rather small
I think if there is more than one account being accessed by the same computer and/or IP.
I have the same idea. It's there to stop scripted login.
I've never seen it though.
I have six accounts I use regularly - and none give me captcha.
DS - I have three accounts, all of which I dip in and out of but I've done that for ages and never once had an issue.
I only once received the captcha sign in and that was on halloween. strange and eerie.
I've always had the catchpa for signing in to HubPages, or at least as far back as I can remember. My sister got an acct soon after I started in order to become my fan and comment on my hubs. She's in the same household, so has the same IP address. I notice when I travel and use the hotel internet, tethered or wireless, I don't get the catchpa.
did you see your hub was copied? http://hubpages.com/forum/post/1324495
ARGGGHHHH! Thanks for letting me know, though I can't deal with it now. I have to leave shortly to go do a peds evaluation. It's hell week for me. I have eval/re-evals every day this week.
(Of course it got me fired up and I did "deal with it" by sending an email to the site owner.)
I have had catchpa come up once or twice when creating a new Hub. It was between the inappropriate, copied, spam Hubs will be removed screen, and the Hubtool screen.
This appears to spammers? Very odd, especially when you consider that, like Monty Python, I don't like spam!
