So I'm still fairly new to Hub Pages. I'm working on writing better hubs than what I have so far! It's pretty entertaining though. It gives me something different to do during the day when I don't know what else to do! Share your experiences on here, let me get an insight of the average hubbers writing and work ethic for forums, questions, hubs and all that fun stuff. I'm very interested to learn what everyone has to say!
It says in your profile page that you decided to try out this blog thing...You should correct that as this is not a blogging site and hubs are not blogs :-)
Your post seems somewhat condescending to the members of HubPages. I'm sure this is accidental.
HubPages is not for those struggling with boredom. This is a site ripe with creativity and community.
I must say I didn't pick up the condescendingness of the post. I'm sure Travis_S_Music knows that there are also Hubbers who don't logon to HubPages to kill the time but primarily to create, write and share new content. Although I must say checking frequently how your hubs are doing can be a form of relieving short moments of boredom and inactivity.
Welcome to HubPages, Travis_S_Music, and I'm looking forward to more content from you
Well I'm sure a lot of people did come here out of boredom in the first place! And I must say I have not been too bored since I started. I enjoy writing and helping people so this has been a good creative outlet for me! And thank you very much simeon (:
I apologize for speaking too soon, Travis. I guess I'm very overprotective of my baby here!
You sound like a great guy.
Hey it happens! (: I'm trying my best to make it in the crazy world, and get my foot out somewhere before I move out in the next few months haha. I figure, treat people how I'd like to be treated, even if that's not how they treat me anyways. No harm in it!
Start reading and commenting on them. Following your heart for the writings. Whatever interests you more than likely interests someone else too.
Btw- Welcome to Hubpages! If I haven't said it before, which is likely I haven't.
You've already begun the process of getting your name out there. Just by doing what you are doing. Therefore, keep doing it.
Travis, welcome to HubPages. The best way to get an idea about who writes what is probably just to browse through a bunch of various Hubs. There's a huge variety of people, writing, and types of Hubs on this site, so there's not really any "average Hubber". Reading and commenting on the kind of Hubs that are stuff you like to read can help you find your way around. Being a friendly participant in the forums from time to time can help people get to recognize your name (I'd advise staying out of the religion and politics forums. Little good ever comes from them )
welcome and enjoy the site. write the best you can, participate in the community and people will start to find you. you can make money here, learn as much as you can. it's a very helpful community.

I have over 60 hubs now and could have several hundred before year end. I have been using groups so far to handle the hubs I have, but would like to hear how others with hundreds of hubs manage them.Thank you.

produces: anxiety!C'mon, Hubpages! I've been a good boy. I've improved my hubs. I've been "awarded" a Level 2 Commentator (oh joy.) My personal story of near death and survival is consistently coming up TWICE (original hub and five year follow up) in Google search on page one out of over...
