A large national non-profit association evidently linked to one of my blogs at some point yesterday. I checked AdSense a little while ago for the first time today and almost fell out of my chair. So far today, I've made from AdSense what I usually make in a week! Happy, happy, happy!
Thanks all! I've seen nice spurts from places that have linked my blogs in the past, but not to this scale. I can't wait to see what I make by the end of the day! Stoked!
Congrats. I hope you have linked to one of my comedy hubs to provide your visitors with amusement when they are done harvesting the fine information you provide.
Congrats, Irohner! It's awesome when something unforseen like that happens!
Wooooo Hoooooo! Keep us posted on how much boost sticks over time.
@RMC -- No kidding. I'm hoping this sticks and isn't just a flash in the pan. Although two years ago, one of the other sites that linked to the same blog gave it a really nice boost, and that's stayed pretty stable. So fingers crossed! Gosh, I might have to actually start updating this blog!
Great to hear, that's always nice. Hope the traffic last for a long while.
A non-profit org giving traffic to you through AdSense and creating profit for you, ironic, but funny and good fortune to you lrohner.
What's really surprising to me is that it's only a PR4, the page that links to me is deep in the site and a PR0 (not the home page, obviously), and yet they're sending me tons of traffic that converts nicely. I may look at PR4 sites in a new light after this!
I'm fascinated with your commets and am a complete newbie! What are PR4 sites?!!! Learning, learning, learning.
AWESOME news....congrats indeed. Hope those $$$$ keep rolling in!
Congratulations! This is definitely a reason to be doing the happy dance!

It will tell you what it is and when it's important -- or if it is at all.
That's really fantastic Irohner
I'm doing a dance for you. Some of your luck may rub off on me

After 9 months on HP, I got that email we all anxiously wait for: I made my first payout and it was sent to Paypal. Woohoo!! Yesss! After a lot of stress, hard work, 43 hubs, and 30,300+ views, I can breathe a sigh of relief. Yes, I have a ways to go but this milestone calls for a celebration....
