            make it three. my name is my screen name, Elle has the same sound as L, so I use it as a pen name since I also have French ancestry and write about France and I'm a 'she' which is what elle means..

   My middle name is Melanie and I really hate it, I don't know why.
   
   I never tell people my middle name. When I met my boyfriend I told him I didn't have one and then we walked passed a car one day that had my initials (JMS) in the reg number so I said 'oh wow that car has my initials' and he was like 'I thought you didn't have a middle name'  whoops. I've never lived that one down!

   My name is Saloni. Meanings in different languages and contexts = beautiful, soft...
   My dad gave me this name after watching a song in an old movie...that was the best choice I must say as I have received many compliments for my name and love my name so much! I also like the fact that its not very common, although it would be interesting to meet another Saloni for a change!
   My screen name is cloudy_cool and have this online 'nickname' for 10+ years now! The inspiration behind it was mother nature itself!

    I don't understand the hangup with people not using their real names. Many news sites and content sites demand you use your real name for your author accounts.

    Jayne. I have only three names - we had a few pennies going spare (judging on Greek's response) so I got a couple. My husband got ... I dunno, like 10 or something.
    
    Portuguese tradition. You just can't leave anyone out in the family of the same gender or some such. It goes something like Pedro Alexandre da silva Fernandes ... or maybe it's Pedro Fernandes da silva or ... or ... he knows

    I have a name that very few can pronounce, so when I signed up for HP I went for my initails, TL Poague. Unfortunately, the little l is often mistaken for an i so my name ends up being tipoague. My mother gave me her middle name which is Lynn.
