What change would you make if you owned HubPages?

Other than exploring more options to get hubpages all over the world, I would not be so strict on the contents of what writer's want to talk about, there are many interesting topics. I would give more accolades for other reasons. There are several fabulous writer's on here.

Other than exploring other Amazon markets, I would probably think about launching es.hubpages.com and de.hubpages.com and it.hubpages.com, and so forth, one at a time, in order to attract writers in other languages. It would basically require a Maddie who can speak Italian, a Maddie who can speak Spanish, etc. There shouldn't be an issue with the Chinese Maddie, what with San Fran having the largest China town in America!

      Hahaha! LOL@Chinese/Italian Maddie!

That is a great suggestion. IT will not only increase your(owner's) revenue but benefit us writers also.

    1. Geo Targeting of Amazon, Ebay Modules. This way we'll earn from foreign visitors.
    2. Add more revenue modules like - linkshare, clickbank, e-junkie to system.
    3. Add random text-captcha on sign up page and for next 15 hubs publishing page.
    4. Nofollow tag option to affilaite links in text capsule, link capsule.

4th is a necessary one. I wonder why they haven't already implemented it.

I also want better abilities for geo-targeting Amazon ads particularly from the UK where there are lots of buyers and quite a high percentage of my readers come from - as well as many hubbers.

I would also add a couple more revenue options particularly sales based.

I would make Holle Abee HP CEO and give her an annual salary of $250,000, along with 6 weeks paid vacation, great health insurance, flexible hours, and a Christmas bonus.

      I will second Habee's motion.

Provided I am engaged as her non-working virtual assistant with an identical remuneration package.

Once installed in this position, I would issue an edict requiring all passwords must be funny.

I'd consider an incentive bonus for hubbers that are either extremely active or who reach a certain payment threshold etc..

As long as google loves the hubpages, we the hubber will have most benefits from this site.

So my first priority would be to make some action plan to eliminate all junk content as early and as quickly as possible.

      That's cruel!!
I wouldn't sell it for ten times that amount if I were the owner and one million is not anywhere near its price as of my opinion.

I would let the site stay the same for awhile - no changes at all, so members and new members can just get used to using it to its full potential.  And I would take a three-week vacation somewhere remote and special and treat myself like a queen!

I would make all hubbers per the new TOS bring me sacrifices of succulent lamb chops with all the trimmings on a rotational basis so that I would never have to leave my computer ever again to eat. This would cut down on my time wasted walking 10 feet to the fridge and exerting myself to push the buttons on the microwave a few times a day. Thus I would have at least 10 more minutes a day to oversee my evil empire smile
