I was just looking at my hubtivity, and it appears that I have written or responded to over 1,000 posts in the forums. Gee! If I had a dollar for every post, I would have enough money to pay my rent for one month and still have $350 bucks to spare!
I also found one of my older posts about falling in love with someone I just met. Boy! I read all of my posts on that one, and I couldn't stop giggling. I picture little hearts swarming around my head while writing it. But, it sure brought back memories. It also kind of made me blush! LOL! Nothing like telling a commumity of strangers that you are gay, and a slut! LOL!! But, I am still thinking about the person I post about, I just gave up on trying to contact him. WOOF!!
I also spent a few minutes today updating some of my other sites, like my Blogger page, and my stay at Stumbleupon. I was shocked that I had not done anything at Blogger in almost 2 years! And, I don't really care for Stumbleupon. I recently joined Webanswers, and I like that a lot better.
So, are there any other Post-aholics in the room? Shall we start our own support group? LOL!
My name is Brian. And, I'm a Post-aholic! LOL!!
Hi my name is Katie and I'm a post-aholic.
My last post was,,,well seconds ago...
now now tell the truth it'll make you feel better
ha!
I sure hope that you people can help me! I can't seem to step away from the keyboard - I obsessively post - even when I have nothing at all to say! Is there any hope for me?
I can only imagine how many posts I have at Facebook. If I keep it up I might have to go to Post-aholic rehab! LOL!!
OH right tweets do count as post! hmmmmm I maybe worse than I thought. I'd better go tweet and post on Facebook for feedback....
LOL Pcunix.
Just think how many posts you would have if you didn't spend so much time banned
I myself have noticed a marked increase in my posting activity of late.
But I haven't had any negative consequences -- yet. So will admit only to being a heavy social poster (at least for now).
mega1 -- How in the heck did you log 10K plus posts?
What forums are you posting in?
Yikes -- I don't know whether to be envious or concerned
I expect most people are concerned - worried even, about me. It is a terrible thing when you are so stuck posting you forget to go pee until you almost have an accident! and lately my monitor has been cutting out - trying to tell me something, I guess.
I know there's no hope for me. I'm not even trying to quit! and the worst of it is that nothing I post has any substance or meaning - its all drivel, drivel, drivel. I doubt if people even read some of the nonsense I post here- I expect my relatives and friends will be conducting an intervention any day now. I already have my suitcase packed!
well, you know what they say - the first step is admitting you have a problem!
I'm a binge poster. I'll go a few days barely posting - then I'll have a couple of days when I just keep posting. Sometimes when I'm not in the mood to do anything (or don't have anything that really needs to be done that day), I'll go on a posting bender for a couple of days. Most of the time I don't let posting affect my life. Honest! (Sure, I sneak away from my work to pop on and post; but it doesn't affect my work.
)
Sometimes I only post small posts (so that doesn't seem like much of a problem...). I'll admit that sometimes I do really, really, big posts (but it's not like I do that all the time....
). It's not like I'm posting from a smart phone or anything like that. I can post when I want to. It's not like I can't stop.) Besides, one main reason I come to the forums is to get ideas for writing, so it isn't like I post for the sake of posting....
Sometimes the only reason I post is that everyone else is posting. I can't not-post. Nobody not-posts. (Well, some people not-post, but that's only because they don't have the time or money - or else because they're not interested in being sociable. I'm mostly a social poster (except, of course, for the occasional binge posting..
).
No.. I'm not a post-aholic. Honest, I'm not. I can prove it in my Hubtivity (but just not the last week or so, but I've had my reasons this last week or so...). The difference between me and some people is that I can stop any time I want to. No. I'm definitely not a post-aholic...
Welcome Lisa HW, I'll bet after writing all of that you feel so much better. Good girl! Let it all out!
You know... I DO feel much better. Do I get to get some coffee now, or something, or maybe cry of something (I've never been to one of these threads before) - or do I just go watch David Letterman's show, content in my knowledge that I have effectively put the matter to bed..... What - no coffee? Forget it. I'll make my own, but I'm not coming back here next week...
..ha ha ha ...sure yor not...see ya later Lisa!
...hey Mega!....brrrrrr...it's cold up north!
Looks like we are plum out of coffee. The Cookie Monster was here, and he took off with all the coffee and cookies. But, he's blue so he shouldn't be too hard to find!

I don't know if you have used this app before, but I believe it's worth a shot.Just 2 days ago I witnessed a sudden increase in views in one of my Hubs. I mean, hundreds of views, almost a thousand at this point. When I took a look at the traffic source, I saw it was Stumbleupon that made...

In another forum topic thread someone mentioned Niome as a blogging site. I quickly created two posts for the site--both under 300 words. One was new content and one was a rehash of a hub I did. I wanted to link the rehash to my hub. I just added the short url that HP provides. I've search...

I've been using a variety of social bookmarking sites to increase traffic and for the do-follow links, due to a great hub by Ryankett, thanks Ryan!! Recently though, on a few sites like Kirsty or Wagg, even after several months, my bookmarks are all marked as "submitted", but none of them...
