I don't seem to have mine, not that it matters as I will be able to identify hubs to delete and hubs to amend anyway, but I thought these were being rolled out by 16th March?

Yep got mine - was surprised I didn't have too many woohoo - all amended and fixed!

Maybe you don't have any that need to be fixed?

I received mine several days ago and there were 4 - I've fixed 3 and am currently trying to figure out how to fix the 4th (as it would mess up the whole point of the hub).

I had over a hundred that needed to be fixed, and probably still have 50.

I just don't want a situation whereas they email me a list of 150, leaving me to look through them all to find the 20 that I have missed.

Received an email day before yesterday saying one hub wanted amending, but I have been busy amending them myself over the past week, so quite happy with that.

My email was buried in my Hubpages filter. I'm guessing many writers that only use Hubpages occasionally or who are living off stuff they wrote two years ago are going to be completely blindsided by this when they check back in. When I made a post in the HP group on Facebook, a lot of those people had no idea there were rule changes at all.

I got one earlier this week, I had corrected a few but missed these 2.

    Me too,

I have tried to tidy up my hubs, I haven't got that many so didn't take long but I am sure I have missed something so email expected.

No news is good so they say, whoever they are!

Got my email a few days ago--two hubs that needed fixing. Those are already done. Now I'm going back through the other 55 and improving them . . . only 38 more to go!

Mine just it was from "editor" not Hubpages editor. I almost missed it because I thought it was spam.

    Nah, definitely not got it.

Doesn't matter, I doubt that I will miss much, I know my hubs like the back of my hand.

I received mine on the 16th as scheduled to edit 1 hub. I had edited all my hubs when given the warning to do this in advance. Sales from amazon have come to a halt but with 2 weeks left in March I am not to upset with it.

December, January and February were fantastic months for Amazon sales. I expected a slowing down to come and haven't written anything in over 3 weeks here at HP. Not until I can see where everything is heading with the current slap. It is a hard month to try and do stats to begin with let alone tweeking hubs to get better results for amazon sales.

This isn't the month of the year to try and get increased traffic results. This is my opinion, depending on niche of articles written, the audience directed to and what content is being searched for among other things.

I got the email. I unpublished 12 pubs for duplicate content. My google adsense is still nosediving, down about 26% according to analytics..

I was told 100 of my hubs need fewer capsules. Hubpages need to change the Amazon and Ebay default boxes to 1 ad, not 3.  I always thought I was doing what they wanted by adding 3. At this point this has all become such a thorn on my side that I'm thinking of taking a 2 week break from the site just to hold on to my sanity. When I come back maybe all 100 of the offending Hubs will be unpublished, about 1/3 of my stuff. Maybe I'm just a crappy writer and shouldn't be here at all. Then again when I joined the site it wasn't all about the money. There has been such a paradigm shift here.

I haven't had one, but I did make an effort to find any that needed changing myself so maybe I didn't have any left by the time they checked.

I got 2 e-mails from Hubpages. One was on the 16th saying that I need to edit one hub. But I decided to delete it, wasn`t worth the effort.

I got another e-mail today saying that I got another hub to fix which I am doing right now. Hopefully I won`t be getting anymore e-mails from Hubpages big_smile

I did a lot of editing last weekend on all of my accounts. Thankfully I didn't have as many hubs as some to edit! I haven't had an email at all. I'm hoping that's because I've caught them all. Mind you, traffic has not improved. But then it could  be too early to tell if the effort was worth it.

So, it's only hubs that need to be changed.

Well, so far, so good! smile

I'm not receiving one because I have no hubs that need to be changed.

  14. rmr profile image67
    rmrposted 13 years ago

I got one that said I needed to fix one hub, but when I started to go through all of my hubs, I found at least 5 or 6 more that were well outside of the new word count to Amazon product ratio. So I think the system may still need tweaking.

Some of us have received emails letting us know we have Hubs not compliant with enough of the 50 word per Amazon product change of rule.

Many of us Hubbers will not receive the email as you will already be compliant with the new rule.

Kudo's for HP HQ to be able to pinpoint with accuracy (and as rmr suggests, some may have been missed) which hubs required changing, I was finding it hard going through each Hub manually and I only have 80 odd.

Got the email and had about 10 (mainly humorous) hubs that needed changing. Have done my best bearing in mind I am on holiday, in Tenerife, on slow Wi-Fi connection and wanting to enjoy the sun too. I have altered all of the hubs listed, but only guessing at the word count as not sure how to determine it exactly without physically counting every word. Right now I have mainly drastically reduced the ads listed, and hoped the word count will be appropriate according to the new rules. I emailed Hubpages to ask them to review the list of my Hubs again and let me know which ones still need further adjusting, but replying to 'editor@hubpages.com' resulted in an automated 'not deliverable' response that went straight to my SPAM folder, and then sending the same message to 'team@hubpages.com' has not resulted in any response so far.

Haven't gotten mine yet but when the thread was posted about the changes, I immediately went back to check my hubs. Found some with warnings about too many Amazon products and some with too many tags. I corrected them already but I don't know if I got all of them so I'm still checking my mails regularly just in case it pops out. smile
