Going to take this time and see if I can push my own site somewhere and see what I can accomplish with my pencils and paper and really see what happens when I start to draw more of the things that I set out to orginally do back when I came online back in 2004.
Going to keep my decent hubs here and delete what's just useless and transfer it elsewhere and just test what happens with that transferred content.
I wish all the hubbers that I have known well as there are some great people and excellent writers here that I admire very much. And Hubpages is still a great place to write, in fact one of the best places I have written at.....I will be back in a year or so when I've recharged my tired batteries.
Now first things first I'm off to bed....Zzzzzzzzzz!
Have a great year! You will TRULY be missed!!!!
Pop in from time to time and let us know how things are going, okay?
Good luck, like lrohner said! Do come back from time to time~
Take what you've started here and take it offline.
Can you teach drawing to people in a class environment?
I've been training people: Word, Excel, emailing and the Internet at a Registered Training Organisation. And have thrown my hat into the ring to do some short courses on how businesses can use Facebook at a Business Enterprise Centre.
We often take our interests and passions and develop them online. But consider taking what you've learned with the organisation and presentation of the information and take it back offline and teach people the old fashioned way, face to face.
{great advice, DS}
Waynet, You will be missed! I'm sure the year will be fantastic for you, with your talents. Best to you.
Go get 'em!
Have fun. I hope you drop in with a bit of your humor from time to time.
All the best. I like darkside's idea.
Yes that is great advice....I've always wanted to do something like teaching in fact I pretty much do it on my youtube channel but offline would be cool.
Cheers everyone!
Good luck Waynet! I've been working primarily on my own sites with Hubpages as a sideline for a year or so, so the Panda update hasn't really changed much. I hope you find the right mix for you.
PM me your site at some stage mate... I'll drop you a line .. From NZ..
drawfantasyart.com is my new site and is self explanatory and I also have an article/blog directory style site onepagearticles.com these are my main focus for now, especially my art site and drawing offline....cheers now!
I guess you're now a YouTube Partner as well. Goodluck! You'll be missing HubPages the most anyway. Even if HubPages doesn't earn a cent for me, which will never happen. I enjoy hubbing and the kind of continued and targeted traffic I do recieve on my work here since over 3yrs now till 2morow. I'm occupying tight for a greater future than today. Keep in touch bro, you're one of us.
Beautiful site. I recommend that you unpublish hubs now, before moving them, to kind of give you lesser of a duplicate content penalty on your blog/site. You will have that penalty until Google de-indexes what you've got here on HubPages, so removing it now will perhaps aid in the de-indexing.
Don't get down if you don't get traffic to your blog right away, it'll happen. You know the ropes! You're quite a writer and have obviously contributed a lot. If you need ANY help setting up your blog/site for SEO, I would be glad to give you any advice.
Best of luck! I hope you do really well! Keep us posted!
Good luck with everything Wayne! I hope you pop in to say hello sometimes
Oi Guv'ner, you be well on yer new adventure's in amongst that world out there.
Good luck to ya Mr T and I wish you much success on your new adventure.
Good luck - you've been great company for the start of my online journey. Thanks for everything.
Cheers everyone! Will still pop into the forums any chance I get, just to see what's going on!
...@Empress I think it's 48 hours or something, but I'm not bothered about de-indexing my old hub content at the moment, the key is to just fill up my article directory with some content and then spruce things up a bit later with SEO and all that jazz!
I like to go against the grain sometimes!
sounds like a good plan, we look forward to hearing of your continued success, maybe you put a link to your teaching on you tube on your profile, if not how about a link, would love to check out your classes on line.
Best of luck, Wayne - it sounds like you are on the cusp of something big. You could be the most influential figure to come out of Hull since The Housemartins, Dean Windass and...er...John Prescott
Have a nice year Wayne...oh wait a minute!? that's me!
Cheers Andrew!
Good luck, Wayne! Don't forget to give your "e" back! I don't think they have but so many!
Hope you're a great success where ever you go, Wayne. And I hope the Google gods are kind to you.
Cheers now!
Already done quite a bit in the last few days....it's refreshing how much a change of pace and direction you can be even more productive.
Back so soon? I thought you were going for a year - you didn't even last a day

After the recent change made by Google, I'm feeling discouraged (not looking for any sympathy, mind you). My traffic is pretty much dead (I don't mean to complain because I know a good majority have been having trouble too) and I'm feeling burned out, too. Thankfully, I haven't lost my passion for...

Hi,Do more experienced Hubbers have any useful tips for getting your article moved to a niche site? I kept seeing advice that goes something like "make sure you write a high-quality article" but it just seems so vague to me. I have 9 articles now and the only one that was moved to a niche...

Do you think HubPages would warn us in advance if they shut the site down?I suspect that, sometimes at least, many of us write directly onto the page at HubPages, without having first written offline and saving written work to our own pc. This question is also a warning to hubbers to do just that -...

Hello everyone. I just wanted to mention that I will be taking a break from HubPages for a while. I have started grad school and even though this is the first week, I am starting to get overwhelmed. So I am hoping this break will help me concentrate on my studies. I hope I get to see you all...

A Bit over the generated requests from hubpages re the not meeting standards - I had three /four videos on this hub and was told that some or one (who knows which ones) had poor pixels or some such - so to fix it i took off all videos - so no videos. Re-submitted and now find that my hub is still...
