While posting n the forums today,I just realised that
hmmnn...
I believe what you need to do is stay out of the forums for awhile and just write like many of us have been doing. Many of us go through the same thing, but it will be just fine.
hey you just got here
i sort of understand you i mean lately the forums are kind of boring..the same threads bumping up and up and up and some so-called new people that you can tell are just regulars in disguise, so you have to wonder just who you are talking to these days.
well, i hope you feel better anyway.
Breathe in, breathe out, move on..
I'm not sure why ya feel like this, but hell, it happens to everyone. A few months ago, before I joined here, I had so many articles to write about that I didn't even know where to begin. - Thing is, I love to write, and I love to research history. But, at this point in time and even though I was getting paid for it, it just completely exhausted me. Once I finished the articles and took a few days off, well, I was back at it again.. and then I found this place. In between writing articles, I'll come here and write about things that I truely enjoy.
The key is this: Do something that you enjoy, and once you start to see the enjoyment going out of that thing, take a break. If writing is your passion, you'll be ready to pick up the hub-pencil again in no time.
Still, don't disappear completely - we'll miss you too much.
Come on now, your just having an off morning, you need to start something fresh....do you want an on line affair
myownworld, do you want an on line affair but it must be safe, we dont want any cyber virus
um...tempting though it sounds, no thanks......you see, i'm still into HP!!!
You've written 31 hubs in less than two months and you've been in the forums a lot. You've got a case of Hubpages Overdose!
A healthy break will do the world of good. We're here for you - you can always email me if you want to talk.
Now Sa Toya, myownworld is so into Hub pages she turned down the chance of a Hubaffair, so come on now lets get Hubbing
cheers guys, think I'm gonna have a break like you've suggested and see how I feel later
Cheers lyrics, I will if it gets worse...
Sa dont be so quick, your needed here, I look forward to your company each day, so dont ditch us too quick...I will swim across the Irish Sea if I have to
sleep. turn off your computer, go for a walk and make yourself a promise you won't enter hp's or make any decisions for a full day.
we all have our off days, why do you think I like joking so much, kills the depression, dark clouds hang over all of us some times, but we must let the sun shine through, walking away from a place where you have friends and people who care dosnt help, stay, cut back a little, but stay, love you loads xxxxxx
Sa Toya, you're allowed a 10 minute break every 2 hours. (That's what they say where I work.)
I think, in this case, Lyrics' advice is very groovy. But at least come back soon enough to harrass us all.
Wow Sa toya you have been a busy girl. You deff deserve a break.
Girl take a break.. All these WANKERS in here will wear you out at some point..
Hey, Sa Toya....jokes apart, don't give up on HP yet! You're one of my favorite people around (not to mention your great hubs!) and it would be a pity if you left. Take a break from forums yes, but try other avenues/writing options too....at the same time leaving your account intact here.
And I bet after a little break, the 'withdrawal' symptoms will bring you right back to us!
meanwhile, here's a hug!!
I belong to many forums, boards and places. It's a good idea not to get too hooked on any place. If your spending hours a day on a forum,,,, well you might want to take a break.
You can't get a lot of work done if your spending all your time on forums, social sites and so on. Checking in a few times a day is cool, but they can waste a lot of your time. Just my 2 cents.
is that because they are loads of viets screaming "hotel! hotel!"
NO, just one thank you! BTW, here's a big *HUGS* for you, plus some sweet kisses if you want them!
You are exactly right.
Yet perhaps so completely naive about all us addicts.
We don't want to be healthy about it, we want to be further enabled.
I agree too....but then these forums are SO MUCH fun....and don't we all do things in life just for fun? How is that a waste of time then?
But yes, an excess of anything is bad....hence regular breaks are always a good idea just to 'detoxify' the system!
I've felt like this too. Not because I wasn't making money, or getting input, but because I was distracted elsewhere. For nearly all the beginning and mid December I hardly was active. I wouldn't login for days.
But, I am back~ Writing slow as a turtle as typical.
Yet, if you are leaving because of emotions...let them pass. Heck, if you need to take a break, fine...but you will be back.
I tried to poof and failed.

Going to take this time and see if I can push my own site somewhere and see what I can accomplish with my pencils and paper and really see what happens when I start to draw more of the things that I set out to orginally do back when I came online back in 2004.Going to keep my decent hubs here and...

So my suggestion to hubpages is that maybe you might like to look at alternate like say Ad Brite for the people who like me who are in the same position. I have 140 hubs up and I can see that I am still having the odd advertisement inserted onto my pages for which I will not receive payment; maybe...

With the event of me approaching 1 million hub views in a few days or so, this gives me the chance to reflect back and see what I did to increase my traffic and revenues through Hubpages. What really started the ball rolling was the very first Hubchallenge back in May 2009 and I've since done 4 or 5...

A Bit over the generated requests from hubpages re the not meeting standards - I had three /four videos on this hub and was told that some or one (who knows which ones) had poor pixels or some such - so to fix it i took off all videos - so no videos. Re-submitted and now find that my hub is still...

Not that I needed to post this but thought I'd let you know.I decided I really do like hubpages, but it can get to be much sometimes...especially in the forums.I took a looooongish break, just to see if it world be better for me...but I just kept thinking of things to write...guess hubbing's in my...

How long have you been writing seriously? Not writing for grade school or a journal, but writing your own content whether for publication on HubPages or other online venues or for print publication or for some other serious purpose on a regular basis.
